I agree with the above comments, although I believe Ady mentioned elsewhere he'll keep the celebartions.  The issues I have with the new ending have already been covered - and, as well as those, it knocks certain EU (Truce at Bakura?) out of the loop.  Not that the movies need to be changed to match the EU, but... well, take mine and others thoughts as well.

And if it is kept, please just remove the Naboo scene.  The celebration flows much better without it.
