Gaffer Tape's YouTube Reviews of Awesome Candy-Creating Goodness! (The Facts of Life/Star Trek III Conspiracy!)
Time

Youtube's being annoying so I'll try and upstage Gaffer here rather than his youtube page. BKEV TO THE RESCUE!  The footage is codenamed Zyu2, and someone has kindly uploaded what he knows/believes to be much of said "new" footage on youtube. http://www.youtube.com/user/Zyu2.  You'll notice that a few of these videos have only the monsters intact.  This is because Saban ingeniously was able to splice in the new megazords from later seasons into these(particularly here Zyu2) shots, by panning away any time one side got hit via a generic reaction shot.  Some episodes you never see the Zords clash at all at the same time on-screen.

And define spin-offs... Super Sentai is a yearly thing, where - much like the Power Rangers - you can expect a different series every 1-2 years.  Most upgrades, except for the temporary ninja suits from... season 3?, are just more stock footage.

On cable it is, not on the DVDs.  They even have a disclaimer somewhere in there.  However, Johnny Quest oddly enough has this fate reversed, and it's a damn shame.

edit: I may have misspoken on Tom & Jerry, I'm referring to the supposed "blackface" cuts after explosions and such.  I believe most of Mammy Two-Shoes' lines have been restored to the original voice on DVD, but wiki says some episodes contain the re-dubbed voice.

Fantasia Hybrid Edition (* unfinished project *)
Time

Gee, I can't wait to see how they muck up Beauty & the Beast on Blu... :/

Oh, yeah, Fantasia.  I saw 2000 in the original theatrical run (in a temp-theater set up in a tent specifically for the event no less), and may or may not have seen Fantasia when I was very young.  I look forward to checking this out, and wish you luck.

Captainsolo, I highly doubt Lionsgate is more than the distributor... so in short, that's probably all they had.  Still, ought to have requested more.

@Molly:  I certainly hope that's only a few episodes they sourced from VHS.  That's just beyond horrible.  Although the episodes I have seen didn't look too bad...

YES!  Haha, I love Zyuranger... at least, Bandora.  So much cooler than Rita.  I gotta wonder, why does every group who EVER starts the series stop subbing it?  I really wanna see past episode 7!  The Green Ranger's story, while I've never seen it, sounds way more interesting than Tommy's... although, like everyone else, he was my favorite growing up.  Power Rangers was a bit before my time, so how do I know it?  Simple!  ABC Family ran it weekday mornings, and whenever I was sick I'd make it 4 parts of the way through a 5-parter... and be ready to go back to school.  It happened to me with Wild Force, AND Green With Evil.  I never found out for sure how Tommy ended up working with them until I... eh-hem... found the episodes.

Star Wars (SE) shown at Piedmont Park (Atlanta)
Time

I believe one of our members cited it as the 2004 edition at the Academy, but that was such a long time ago that I may be misquoting (or he may have even been mistaken himself).  You're probably right, of course - especially given the other movies on their list.  I'm still waiting on American Cinematheque to find some version of Star Wars to show... they did show an original Raiders print, glass reflection and all, only last month.
