Some ideas I think I’ve expressed in the thread, but too lazy to come back to read…

open matte shots: in particular from DVD menus, but other static ones could be recreated, as explained in this clip https://vimeo.com/196835947 - now it’s possible to mask the added “slices” top and bottom with an hack that would work an almost all players
black & white deleted scenes: I’d prefer to have them colorized, but I’m not that good at is; help is still needed
EP 1, 2, 3 deleted scenes: many are almost ready
EP 4, 5, 6 deleted scenes: they need to be cleaned, so if some very skilled talent would chime in…

i don´t think a open matte would be need.
you see the “waves” in the area up and down where orginaly are the black bars…
better use frames with more pic information to have more star wars…😃

the worst sw movie is ep1 follows from the holiday special (not really a movie,but…worst…).

And I really like Episode III the way it was released in theater .
Even Episode II is way better than Rogue One (!).

the ewok adventures movies “caravan of courage” and “battle for endor” are better than this bad cgi movies.
Rogue One is the best sw movie after the GOUT!
