The new narration is by Don LaFontaine. I don't have the audio but a loan of your tape would be great, unless you can transfer it for me? It will have the burned in Japanese subtitles. I'll be releasing it as the Japanese edition.

But...

If you ask me, based on Lucasfilm's recent releases and the fact that next year is the 30th anniversary, I have a feeling we'll see a 'Vintage Collection' release of all of the classic documentaries.

Help Wanted: A request from babyhum: 'Ultimate Sci Fi Top 10' on UK TV

I think the best way of solving this is for some kind hearted soul with Sky Plus records the series for me and I retrieve it myself. It's a great little show with some exclusive interviews with Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Kenny Baker and Dave Prowse.

Two reasons why I'm not doing this myself. Financial (I refuse to give Sky any more of my money) and timing (I'm going abroad on business at the end of the week and won't be around to record it)

Listen, if those of you out there can grab it for me, great. If not, don't worry. But it would have made a really nice release.

My advice is to get yourself a new Sky subscription, and watch it yourself. Why do these forums now seem to attract freeloaders?

Freeloading? I'm interested in releasing a compilation of the show to the group which i think will make a decent release. A few of my releases have been recordings from Sky. I have had to give up Sky due to my financial situation.

I thought this forum was to encourage sharing.

Obviously not.

You're ignorant.

This kind of attitude only encourages me to stop releasing.

A request.
I recently stopped my Sky subscription. Starting on Friday 13th October 2006 at 02:40 to 03:30 (so it’s more like Thursday night) Sky One are repeating (i assume weekly) the “Ultimate Sci Fi Top 10” series in Widescreen. Is it possible someone could record these for me for a forthcoming release.
I must ask the following: They are recorded onto DVD at the highest quality possible, and they are recorded in 16x9 anamorphic format via RGB scart. NOT matted and NOT fullscreen please. I will pay for all media and postage.
I know it’s asking a lot but it will make a fantastic disc.
Thank you all,
babyhum

Aren't the connections segments on the Story Of Star Wars DVD that came with the Best Buy version of Revenge Of The Sith on DVD?
I have no idea what my plans are for the future at the moment. I still have soooooo much stuff to put on DVD. Unfortunately work is getting in the way at the moment, but, since this afternoon, i am the proud owner of a MacBook so I will be utilising my lunch hours more fruitfully!

Oh well....those players are a little old though, so I'm sure thats just the problem. My third player (my computer) plays them without a hitch.

This may be down to the fact that I think i encoded the VH1 clips with a very high bit rate. Older players may have problems with that.

I hope everybody is enjoying the new releases.
