Wookie Groomer HDTV
Time
I have to thank and commend Wookiee Groomer for this release. I've only just crossed over to HD and have been busy downloading and viewing Science of Star Wars and Episodes II, IV, V & VI. I have the US versions of the movies, and yes, there is a lot of artifacting. I really look forward to the other movies being released this way.

Also, it was announced today that in the Spring of 2008, the BBC and ITV will launch FreeSat in the UK, incorporating HD channels. 8 months too late if there is going to be any shows celebrating the 30th anniversary this year (which so far, I know of none!)

what about the cover of bh009 - is it possible thet we can get a cover from you as the others?
thx a lot

I was unaware it was different. The content has changed but the background is the image from the template I have always used. You mention that the background goes from light to dark grey. That has been the case from bh001.
I'm afraid I never print any of my covers. Can anyone else confirm that this cover is different from the others?

Info: Ewok Adventure Featurette - for sale on ebay
Time
I have a copy of this tape winging it's way to me. I'm hoping my Panasonic DVD Recorder/VCR will copy a true NTSC tape. If not I may need to appeal to somebody with an NTSC VCR.
I would like to do an Ewok supplementary disc as a release of mine. If anyone has some material to include I would appreciate it. I have the Eric Walker CD of BTS images and also a so-so copy of the original UK TV spot. PM me if you have anything.

Having recently aquired a new Betamax machine, i am in the process of scanning ALL of my old tapes and I am coming up with some real finds. One clip is from the show 'Entertainment USA' from the eighties. Filmed in San Antonio it is a 3 or 4 minute clip of convicted paedophile Jonathan King interviewing Henry Thomas (Elliot from E.T). The clip is currently in DV PAL format (around 350mb i think). If anyone has an upcoming related project and would like the clip, let me know via this thread.

I'm doing an ET DVD or two coming up. I'd love it.

No problem mate. I'll get it to you. Any news of those discs you were sending me?

I don't suppose this is as rare?

The doco isn't rare but I must admit I've not seen it on Betamax before. Ahh, what a great format.

I have classic creatures on betamax as well....what's better, betamax or laserdisc?

I have this and SPFX on Betamax. I never knew Classic Creatures was released commercially on Betamax.
Speaking of Betamax, there's a big announcement coming soon!
