Indy 4, how it should have ended
I have that video on my favorites.
HISHE always has good stuff.
Also, what were you promoted to?
Morning Glory.
Before that, Clockwork Orange.
If you knew me in real life you'd discover how much of a tightwad I am.
Even if I can afford it, I try to get someone else to buy the item at all costs.
Anyone else do this?
My least favorite is The Muppet's Wizard of Oz.
What a complete pile of puppet-shit.

This is why I never look into these things. I want, but I can't have.
Soon!
It's a lot cheaper when you ask your wife to get it for you for Christmas. ;-)
What about Sluggo Central?
I hope they never let him back.
He's so fucking annoying!
Iggy Car-rust
Too lazy to find the source. ;-)

Or you could get this for half the price!
lol
P.S. I agree that the cinematography in Gone with the Wind is just amazing, I wish they still made movies that way.
I want it on blu-ray though.
That was my reaction when I first saw it.
Surprisingly cheap too!
You're quite the Debbie Downer, no?
Win!

This set is perfect for me because I only have one Kubrick film on blu(2001) and I wouldn't mind double-dipping to get the rest.
Plus, you get the book and A Life In Pictures!
And yes, Barry Lyndon and Lolita are both getting their own separate blu-ray releases.
The book? I have the original (old) DVD collection with A Life In Pictures but what is this book you speak of?

You want...this...don't you?

Soon the limited edition Stanley Kubrick Collection blu-ray set will be mine!
I've been waiting for Barry Lyndon on blu-ray for years, and then they go and throw it in this collection. Would be great, except there are some really lackluster transfers in this set. They're just re-releases of the individual BR discs and I already have most of them. I really hope they release Lyndon on its own.

Figures.
Gone With the Wind. This film is so beautifully shot.
I remember when I was little, I would recite the part of the film when Mamie told Scarlett to "come back inside the house". Weird, huh?
Before that, E.T: The Extra-Terrestrial. I watched this one with my Dad. Remember how I said he didn't like Full Metal Jacket last time he visited because it was "too unrealistic"?
On this visit, he told me that ALL sci-fi is stupid because, as stated above, it's too "unrealistic".
He also went on to say that the only people who like sci-fi are "mentally deficient".
After insulting my intelligence, the rest of the visit was pretty awkward.
My rating:
Gone With the Wind:
9/10
E.T:
10/10
Pop's rating:
E.T:
2/10
Now there's two of us.
Keep em coming!
