I love The Man with the Golden Gun!

You better take that back!

I'm sorry Ziggy, but I love The Man with the Golden Gun too...

But- Christopher Lee has a third nipple!

A little Chinese midget!

It's a Roger Moore one!

Jesus, you might as well say Timothy Dalton was the best Bond!

;)

The Best Films Year-by-Year, according to Ziggy Stardust

^ You like Forrest Gump, your argument is invalid.

But seriously, I still don't completely understand all the Gump hate.

The only reasons (for the dislikeage) I've heard so far are:

1. Zemickis is a hack and Tom Hanks didn't try hard enough

2. The President scenes are dated.

3. It doesn't take itself very seriously.

None of those reasons really seem to cut it for me.

I guess I just need to read some 1 star reviews to be more informed, but until then, I still like it.

C'mon, it's not like I think The Hangover is the best movie ever made or anything.

Pink Floyd The Wall.

This movie is amazing. Watch it.

NOW.

Did did did did you see the frightened ones?

Man, talk about taking me back.  A weekly staple at the midnight movies -  and a perfect album to have on the charts my senior year in high school a couple of years earlier.

You lived back in the time of GOOD music! Good job!

It's amazing that I didn't know what this album was about until I saw the movie.

The visuals in it are incredible. Especially the Goodbye Blue Sky scene. The animation is beautiful. They also really pulled off having hardly any dialogue!

Do you own it Anchorhead? (the movie, I mean)

BTW, anyone who is reading this post and hasn't seen The Wall, see it as soon as possible. It's incredible.

BTW Did you know we've been controlling your leaders with our mind rays for years? LOL

So it's YOU idiots who are responsible for this current economic plight of ours!

Given that revelation, I think it is time we go to war with you once again. I'm going to go get on my horse and start ringing church bells and firing shots to warn you that we are armed.

Pfft. We'll just vaporize your Bullets. And then you. And then wipe your memories so you can't remember. And then rip off your faces. And then put them back on upside down. And then wipe your memories again.

Semi-related:

During the American revolution, the red coats of the British stood out when sneaking through the forests and Indians shot them down. :p

Since when has The Horse and His Boy been the third book?

For a while, actually. Go look on amazon right now for a brand new set of the books, it will have the chronological ordering*. This was adopted shortly after C.S. Lewis died. In a letter from a fan, the fan mentioned a debate regarding the order the books should be read in, the publication order, or chronological order. Lewis responded saying something along the lines of either way works, but now that he is thinking about it chronological order makes a lot of sense. I've read the letter several times, and it doesn't come off as a hard definitive decision on the subject, and comes off more as a "huh, hadn't really thought about the possibility of people reading them chronologically, that is a neat idea, but feel free to read them as you like". Yet after his death they decided to change the order of the books because that was "the author's preferred order", as determined by that letter to his fan.

I was never aware of this somehow.

And greenie, the third Serenity sequel would be the fourth movie.
