Where is all this Indy IV love coming from? I couldn't stand that movie! I seriously barely made it through my first and only viewing of the film. Like Captain Solo described, it was a very stressful viewing experience. What I always liked about the later two Indy movies is that they are just fun, stupid, mindless adventure movies. Should be able to just sit back an enjoy them, but as your siting back trying to enjoy it, Indy IV would occasionally ball up a fist and sock you in the brain. Once you adjusted to this new level of unbelievability or came to terms with a really dumb new bit of the plot and were able to start enjoying once more, it'd do it to you again! The whole movie was like this.
Better than the prequels? I'd rather watch all three in order than ever have to suffer through a viewing of Indy IV again.
This.
I'm amazed by how much you remind me of my mom.

The outside of the museum is also beautiful.
Shuttlecocks!
They're huge! I took a bunch of pictures of them! I would upload some pictures of the shuttlecocks I took, but my computer is broken. Again. Piece of shit.
Did you see the steel tree?
(btw the tree is life size)
I'm glad we have the same tastes RedFive! You should post some more paintings, to see what else in common we share!

Had to skim the thread to figure out why I was being accused of being full of shit. When I got to Fink's nomination and the thread he linked to I really literally actually LOL'ed for real.
Can't believe it has now been a whole year and a few days since I ceased the common human practice of defecation.
Sorry, 3PX. It was Frink's idea!
I'm going camping in Yellowstone tomorrow. Don't cry, I'll be back!
No.
I like to be silly in the film threads.
Another favorite:
Ha-ha, that one's great.
DAVY, you have a real talent.

I have a lot of drawings, but my scanner is messed up, so I can't post them.
Take some pictures and upload to photobucket!

(never understood why a few seconds of force lightning should kill him).
Because the lightning caused his breathing apparatus to malfunction.
I have a very peculiar taste in art. Here's some pictures of my favorite paintings:
Salvador Dali
Rene Magritte
I also like the oldies, too.
Sebastian Pether - The Eruption of Vesuvius
The Birth of Venus
Jan Van Eyk - The Marriage of Arnofini
I got the opportunity to see another couple favorites of mine in person, Water Lilies by Claude Monet and Young Man in a Black Beret by Rembrant being prime examples.
These are pictures that I took of them.
^(immediately after I took this, I was told that photography of this painting was not allowed. I was lucky!)
Here's the Rembrandt:
There are many other interesting pieces I saw there, (including things by Van Gogh, Jackson Pollack, Leonardo Da Vinci, Gaugin, Salvador Dali, Seurat, Thomas Hart Benton, among many others) so I will upload those eventually, along with some videos on YouTube.
The outside of the museum is also beautiful.
Thanks, Frink.
I was listening to the song "Blue Jay Way" by the Beatles when I saw that picture, now I'm scarred for life.
I guess I didn't see that.
Can this thread also be used to discuss other art? I saw some cool stuff at the art museum last week.
That was pretty funny.
After seeing these pictures, my optimism level went up a bit.
Here's my advice:
Write a screenplay of this great story you have. When done, get help from other people in cleaning up your script for a final draft.
Get as much footage from the prequels as you could possibly use for this.
Buy a camera.
Get a group of actors who look like the characters. (actually, the only likenesses that matter are Obi and Anakin)
Get a green screen
Find some locations.
Film them.
Have someone (ady?) help you with visual effects.
Win!
It may seem really hard, but it's more realistic than doing it as a fanedit. You could also revisit this idea in 20 years or so when technology is better. I like your idea, but this idea would need about 100 people working on it, and not just over the internet.
That's my two pence.
Oh, Sluggo.
Huh?
Not funny twooffour.
Bingo wasn't even being mean that time.
