On a semi-related note, I'm re-recording a song in the studio tonight and I feel very unprepared, even though I have spent untold hours fretting and preparing. The first time I recorded this particular song I wasn't happy with the results and had a big falling out with my guitarist (hence this extra session) and now I am this close (holds fingers very close) to just scrapping the whole thing and saying 'f**k this song'. Creating is hard work.

OB1 is the serial number of the plane Indiana Jones escapes on at the start of Raiders.

And Chaltab makes a good point - Lucas went back and altered ANH to include Aurebesh on the displays etc instead of English, yet the letters and numbers 'R2-D2' and 'C3P0' remain unchanged....

But with Spidey and Superman it makes sense - I mean, Spider-man's whole body was genetically altered by the spider bite, so it's cool with me that he looks buff and muscly. Superman goes without saying. But yeah, I take your point - it's just a standard comic thing.

Yeah that's what I'm hoping. The problem is I will be in North Dakota, where unless it involves drinking beer, fishing or pick-up trucks, they're not interested. Still though, I might get lucky.
