As far as I am concerned it is not 'good strategy' and it's only since I started watching games in the States on ESPN that I have heard anyone comment on diving and time wasting in a positive way. There should be no time outs, but there should be no time wasting either. They should go the full 90 minutes and give it their all for the entire time.

P.S Thanks for the John quotes Sean. And I definitely recommend learning an instrument and writing songs. It's a great way of making sense of your feelings and exorcising inner demons, and it does actually seem to make people like you, which is a nice bonus. But I've slowly learnt that you should do it for yourself and not others. I spent a lot of time trying to write a 'hit' then realised I didn't actually want a hit. It takes time though - I'm 25 and I still feel like a lost, angst ridden teenager on a regular basis.

Yes, that is feasible, but how crap would that be? It takes a touching scene about a young woman's memories of her heartbroken mother and turn sthem into yet another rationalization. To hell with these rationalizations. Lucas f'ed up. The End.

Of course, there is a simple remedy to all this: Don't watch or acknowledge the prequels, or watch them, but treat them as seperate entities, i.e, not the first 3 chapters of a 6 part saga.

The offer stands. I was focussing solely on getting Warbler to drop the whole 'veto power' thing and was perhaps a little hasty in offering him 50% but, while I do believe that Ricardo is indeed correct in his prediction that this may bite us in the ass one day, I am a man of my word and will not go back on an offer. Besides, we can afford it. We'll just have to work a little harder to boost our income. So get to work you slackers!!!

Seeing as the TARDIS is actaully alive and not just a ship, it makes perfect sense and is a cool idea. If it isn't Doctor Who cannon then it should be, and I hereby claim copyright on the idea.

The look of the TARDIS has nothing to do with what number Doctor Tennant is. I'm just saying that it should have changed when he changed. Right now we have a new Doctor but the TARDIS looks the same as it did before he regenerated.

Of course, I have only seen the first episode of the new series, so perhaps it changes later in the series, or over a period of time. Maybe someone else can tell us?

Yeah, the Jedi mind trick would have come in handy.

I personally gave up smoking reefer a long time ago (I don't drink anymore either) so didn't actually do anything wrong (apart from try to enter America with no ID, but that was an accident). I had to call my mother-in-law and ask her to fax a copy of my passport .

But because my friend had weed on her we all got searched (just a pat-down rather than a strip search thank God), and my she was hauled off my the county Sheriff on charges of possession of drugs and paraphenalia. She has to go to court in 3 weeks and she's in the National guard so she might get kicked out, which sucks seeing as she was in iraq for a year and deserves to be treated better.

Marajuana laws in the USA suck. Fair enough, she broke the law and should know better, but she was only carrying 2 grams. does weed really need to be that illegal? (this is probably a question for another thread, i.e the politics thread, but I'm just saying).

I liked McGann as the Doctor. I liked his look too, and I liked how the inside of the Tardis looked like a ballroom in an old mansion or something, complete with chandelier. I was a bit disappointed when Eccleston regenerated into Tennant but the Tardis did not alter to reflect teh new doctor (perhaps this is something that happens later in the series?).
