Regarding Dennis Lawson (got the name right? ewans uncle?) finding it being ridiculous, well that's the price to pay for being in SW, of course he didn't know it when he was on ANH, but that's a risk you take when you do ANY movie, you become a public figure and people tend to mix up actor and character. So to all the actors all there: stop complaining and sign the freaking autographs... Unless you're Sir Alec Guiness, then you have the right to rip off SW letters, since you did so much apart from SW.

I actually have a photo of Obi-Wan and Vader duellling signed by Dave Prowse and Sir Alec. Prowse will sign anything though.

oh and Chaltab, i am SOO SORRY about your prom story... girls can be very bitchy. in fact we are mean, like those girls from the movie Mean Girls...
but think of it like this: altho you think she prob has forgot, i bet she remembers it and karma always comes back so eventually she'll get bit in the ass for it.

that and prom isn't what its all hyped up to be, at least thats what i found, altho out afterparty was MAD, i tell you, crazy drunks grinding/making out/doing it in the middle of a forest, it was great times.

Thank GOD we don't have an actual prom over here, not in the US way though (in which you gotta invite some girl and dress up and they ellect the prom's king and queen), I would probably not go, I wasn't very popular at highschool (think "Carrie" meets "Revenge of the Nerds"). We did have some celebrations though, including a BBQ party in which I got reaaaally drunk for the first time.

We don't have prom in the American sense here in England either and I for one am very relieved. I was actually part of the popular crowd at school and had a lot of friends (my appreciation of stra wars and comics was a sort of quirky character trait and showed that I wasn't afraid to admit liking stuiff that others found geeky, although probably secretly enjoyed, so it didn't damage my cool). The thing is, even though I was accepted, I personally never felt right - I'm a geek at heart and I couldn't really chill with the 'cool' folk. My friends refer to me now as a 'cool geek', so make of that what you will.

Oh, on topic, my first.....

Kiss: with a girl named Jo. I was at a party and me and my buddy Mark tried hitting on these 2 girls. They went to the toilet and we decided to 'top up' their drinks with some alcohol (for shame). They came back and Jo took a sip and asked me what had happened to her water - she didn't drink! Anyway, I blamed it all on Mark and when we went outside to wait for her dad who was picking her up she asked me if I wanted to kiss her - bingo! I actually really liked her and we phoned eachother for a few months and had some more kisses but nothing ever came of it - personally I blame Godzilla, the worst date movie ever.

I saw Jo a few years back and made a dick of myself in front of her and then saw her again and was meant to be having lunch with her but then decided not to go so I made up an excuse and haven't sen her since.

First Girlfriend: My first real girlfriend, i.e serious relationship of more than a few weeks, lasted for 4 years but in hindsight probably 3 of those years were a waste of time. But I don't have any regrets in life - you live, you learn, it's all good.

First 'time': With the girlfriend mentioned above, we were both 17, my parents were on holiday, I had a free house. Nothing special but at least it wasn't a drunken one night stand. At the time I was still at high school and me and all my friends were horny teenagers deaperate to lose the dreaded virginity, like it was some kind of hurdle blocking us from moving on with our lives. Stupid really.

First drink: don't remember, but considering the legal age here is 18 and I was sneaking out to the pub with my mates at at least 15 means it was probably sometime around then (not including the drop of whiskey my grandad used to give me on the end of his finger when I was a baby!!). I definitly remember my first major hangover though - it was fucking horrible. I was young and stupid and for some reason I thought it was cool to down half a bottle of Vodka. My liver hurt for days and I suffered those days in bed. Horrible.

First joint: Again, I don't actually remember. It was probably at school... but my first major fucked up can't move joint was at uni, probably aged about 19. I've since given up - I had my fun and now I'm done.

Funny isn't it how all our firsts are to do with experiences with the opposite sex and drink/drugs. Nobody's talking about their first pet or the first movie they remember.

You see what I did there - Star, Rocket, there's a connection - Personally I think a theme makes it more fun and challenging.
