EW's 25 Worst Sequels Ever Made

Agreed. It was a total mess. My mother-in-law bought it for me on DVD and now I'm stuck with the damn thing. The wife won't let me get rid of it, so there it is, polluting my DVD shelf.

EW's 25 Worst Sequels Ever Made

That's a very good point - when a sequel is so bad it ruins the memory of the original, that is a sad day.

As for the question of what actually constitutes a bad sequel, I think if the original is good and the sequel sucks, it makes the list. If it's a bad sequel to a bad original, it doesn't count. By that Logic, Matrix Reloaded definitely deserves to be on the list. TPM, Although not technically a sequel, was a further instalment in a beloved amd respected series that basically pissed on the memory of the originals that spawned it - again, it's place on the list is well earned and deserved. I think TPM would probably top a list of biggest movie disappointments ever. Even though AOTC was worse (amazingly), TPM still takes the prize.

well, die hard 2 is basically a repetition of die hard 2, c'mon how often can one's wife happen to be held hostage by criminals? the only difference is they are on a plane...big deal.
But the film alludes to that fact ('how can the same shit happen to the same guy twice?') and is therefore absolved of all guilt.

Behold, the Falcon...

This is my beloved 1985 Honda Civic, affectionately refered to as 'The Falcon'. I bought this fantastic piece of automotive genius for £300 (roughly $500) a year ago from an old lady who had owned it since new and only put 20,000 miles on the clock (I have since added a further 10,000). Those Japanese sure know how to make cars. My baby has never let me down. Needs a wash though...

Yeah, that made me laugh too, and I am Catholic (or at least raised catholic - now I'm just a generic believer in God/Jesus). But I agree with Chaltab - this cartoon has no substance, it's just going for shock value. The perpetrators should be castrated and beheaded for crimes against intelligent humour.

Comics Fans

During the early 90s Me and my dad used to go to a Sc-Fi/Comic con roughly once every six months. That's where I met Dave Prowse. Good memories of those times. As well as back issues of titles I was into, I was also trying to by back all the Star wars toys that I foolishly gave away years earlier when I had 'grown out of' them. This was again before the days of the internet and ebay - you had to hunt for those suckers.

Classic Edition: Return of the Jedi by Ocpmovie (Released)
Time
Can anybody send me a copy of ROTJ: Classic Editon? I have ANH and ESB and I really want to complete the set. I am in the UK but I will gladly pay for any costs incurred. I do not have broadband access so begging on here is my only hope.

If anyone can help, please PM me with your e-mail address. I can't reply to PMs so I will need the address to communicate.

Thanks in advance.
