Blade Runner: The Complete Music Collection (work-in-progress)

I too have a question: I've listened to a bit of this EMS (lossless version) and I really didn't know that score before aside from the film feature.

So far, the ten first tracks sounded to me like quite low res material tremendously worked and processed in high res, not too much in the bad way but rather in the good. That's all I can say right now, and I've only listened to this on my laptop.

... So, I'd be curious what do you people think about it.

PS: and don't fear highjacking Focuspeller's thread, as it is hardly alive next to the current discussion (and who says this EMS doesn't come from him after all ! (?)

Also, I read "Focus speller"... I mean no arm but maybe that thread was just that, some focus spell.

I wouldn't dream to add many, if any, prequel trilogy themes into the OT. For me, that's kinda going too far. Maybe some background filler music, but not out right themes unless they're truly warented... Like...off the top of my head... instead of using the Ewok finale, they used that new age-ey music...but I wonder if something else might have been better...perhaps influeneced by the locations shown or something but thats ok...

If you wanted to see my HP cues, they're here:

Very nice !

Maybe the background synthetizer that makes a continuous wave would deserve to be silent from time to time imo (first video), nevertheless this is great.

Why woundn't you - all of you guys who met here thanks to Star Wars - make your own project? Star Wars is good inspiration, but what inspired it is even better. And what you are discussing in this thread seems a huge project... huge enough to make your own one !(?)

At least it would belong to all of you, not to someone else.

... Oh, ok thanks. I don't know if I'm going to register to that huge pirate database though.

I made a few researches on the girl who owns the site some time back and she looks to be quite some of a business woman... No wonder how this site stands still while most of the good old soundtrack blogs have been swept away.

... "one ring to rule them all". Such of actuality.
