I've had the book on pre-order from Amazon UK. They say I will receive it at the end of the week. These giant books are the way to go for me. I'll just have to hope that I see the digital footage somewhere, somehow.

Dammit. Now I'm gonna want to buy all the Black Series figures.
I had ignored this urge to become a weird Collector type for so long...
Better start saving. Here's Wave 3 Stormtrooper.
The helmet is not removable on the Sandtrooper. Luke's hand is almost surely to be removable. Figures so far have differing interchangable parts such as heads and weapons.
Very articulate. Here's Luke Bespin from wave 3 which shows a lot of the movable parts.
Wave 1 (now) Luke Skywalker X-Wing Pilot, Sandtrooper, R2-D2, Darth Maul.
Wave 2 (December ?) Han Solo, Princess Leia Slave Girl, Boba Fett, Greedo.
Wave 3 (2014) Stormtrooper, Luke Skywalker Bespin, Obi-Wan Kenobi Episode III.
I was just going to collect Original Trilogy figures, but Darth Maul looks really good so I'm gonna have to go with him as well at some point.
The Sandtrooper out of the box and looking freaking awesome !
Picked one of these up yesterday, from the new line of 6" figures.
Rain City Superhero Movement
"Ah-ah-achoo" !
Take a look over on The Force.Net (Eeek !) for some rare behind the scenes pictures.

Fantastic Four Issue #1
Got really into the Marvel Heroes game for a while and that got me to go back to the start of it all. Went back and read the original Captain America, the origin of the Fantastic Four, The Hulk, Spider-Man, Iron Man...etc. I really love Marvel's Silver Age comics.
Awesome !
I have just read Fantastic Four #1 as well, as part of Essential Fantastic Four vol 1.
At a convention, Kurtz told us that originally nine films were planned and the Emperor was not going to be seen properly until the final film. The second Death Star and the Emperor now appearing so soon did not seem to sit well with Kurtz.
Well, it's that time again. Big cross-over stories from Marvel and DC Comics.
Marvel's storyline of Infinity has just got underway. Three issues in and a couple of tie-in issues I am quite impressed. Major war on all fronts has not let up. I just hope that they can continue this quality for the duration of the storyline.
DC's Trinity War featuring The Justice League, Justice League America and Justice League Dark has just finished and is leading into Forever Evil, a seven part storyline in which the villians take over and have 52 one shot issues for each different charactor! Think I'll just stick with the main story thank you.
That looks awesome. Rinzler is a guest at the London Film and Comic Con in October.

Was that a gorilla suit in the rough cut?
It looked like the 1976 King Kong spliced into the scene.

Some footage shown at CE2 that will be in the digital edition of the making of book. We finally get to see the deleted scene of Luke jumping up to the floor grille during the Rancor scene in ROTJ.
This has now been taken off youtube.

It's probably the newest version on its own DVD. A lot of young kids watch regular DVD, so this makes sense. After all, there's a whole new generation that needs to be utterly bullshitted about what a 35 year old movie looks like.
Right on ! Quoted for truth.
WOW !
Fantastic footage.

Hmmm, Foodles?
STAR WARS EPISODE VII Set To Start Filming Next Month; Production Title Revealed
J
Ah, Foodles Productions Ltd. I will have to look out for that name when I am at Black Park, the country park behind Pinewood Studios. Loads of filming goes on in this park and is really familiar to Hammer Film fans as it was a prime location in those days. When The Mummy Returns was being filmed there, they were Imhotep Productions. The Wolfman just had signs with TWM on them. Could the next Star Wars production hop over the fence and use the pine forest as a location ? I hope so !
Vance Miller Kitchens again is it ? Make your mind up we thought you were Maple Industries, Discount Kitchens Direct or Rock Solid Kitchens. Bah ! You never know who to complain to these days.
I know, nothing ever good comes of it. Makes your head spin.

You must have some really crappy local theaters. It sounds like your theater manager wants to squeeze out as much money as he can after paying for the 3D equipment.
My local Cineworld, here in the good 'ol U.K favors 3D screenings over 2D.
As stated before, sometimes there are a mass of 3D screenings and the only 2D screen may be later in the day or first thing in the morning. I had to see Dredd in 3D because it was the only option. Same with Underworld Awakening. There was simply no other choice. I think there may have been only one screening of Dredd 3D and no choice other than 3D for Underworld. When The Hobbit went on my Cineworld website for advance booking, there were only 3D showings available. A look around other towns had the Odeon with 50/50 showings and even the local hall, which is not even a real cinema had a few 2D showings. I complained to Cineworld that they were money grabbers and could not care less about the public and I and others shall be taking ourselves elsewhere. After booking elsewhere, Cineworld then added some 2D showings to the advance booking information and sent me a snotty email telling me I was wrong about the 2D showings as there were now plenty. I sent an email back telling them to check there records as that only a few days before, and for the past week they were only offering 3D showings for advance booking. I hate Cineworld and I am always complaining about them but it is my local cinema. I should not have to travel elsewhere for options of how I want to see a film. Bah !
^ Some of the comments under your clips are unbelievable. Makes you just want to weep at the lack of knowlege and understanding some people have. Well done for putting these guys right.
