You know, if storm troopers were the same clones from the PT. No wonder the Empire has so many of them. I mean, they blew up the Death Star and that had what? Over a 100,000?
This is why i'm not high on SW. Of course i would get ticked if someone burned my SW novel collection. I wouldn't resort to murder though...Only 500 dollars worth of books.
i can't find any star wars audio anywhere. I guess i could check Amazon. Is it really that cool to listen to the audio? The books were enough for me

All in all, Revenge seems like a stupid word to describe a jedi. Return made more sense considering Luke wasn't trying to kill Vader or the Emperor, but to turn his father away from the Dark Side. Thus, the Sith were dead and the Jedi had once again Returned to defend peace in justice in the galaxy
i really enjoyed the Han Solo trilogy. i was expecting a slow moving story, but it actually kept me reading from beginning to end.
Rogue Squadron has always been a favorite. Rebels fighting the remnants of the empire to build the New Republic? Awsome!
It was the intended title. But GL was advised to change it because of the way it sounded. So for a time it was Revenge of the Jedi In the end though he decided to go back to Return of the Jedi due to the simple fact of what the Jedi stood for.

I know people have done edits to kill Jar Jar. I think the Phantom Edit did one where he took the deleted scene of the bongo falling over the waterfall and made it look like Jar Jar went with it.
Sadly, after seeing the movies. It doesn't work. He's like a stain on you're carpet. You can never get him out.

But they don't. Even the OT didn't. If you wanted to get the full idea of the PT or OT you needed to read the EU or at the very least do a breif overview of it.
Well, when you stick with just the movies, there's no way to explain that. You would be at a loss at what happens in btween episodes three and four. So you would be right there. But if you allowed your self to expand a little beyond the movies, you'd find things make a lot more sense.

Yeah well, lets just assume that I am an average movie fan who has no time or interest in reading through all of those attempts to make up for Lucas' errors. If he indeed wanted his audience to know that stromtrooper != clonetrooper, a simple line about new recruits being trained spoken by pretty much anyone anywhere in ROTS (exept for that young padawan before he gets killed, that would be a bit out of place) would easily establish that.

I think the main problem here is that we are led to believe that the stormtroopers from the OT are actually clones. Those super elite Mandalorian bounty hunter troops that barely hit anything in the OT... And you have to do a LOT of retconing to make this work.

This sounds cool. I'd like to see Vader a bit more dark then what he currently is in the movie. It was ESB that showed how evil he could be. And early dose of that would be cool.
