“Sympathized with the Patriots”…???

What? Why?

I guess it’d be because Tom Brady’s wife is from Brazil, and so am I.

Lol I guess this makes as much sense as any.

Most people that aren’t from Boston and the surrounding areas hate the Patriots, and honestly it’s mainly because they’re so damn good that they win all the time. Although the grumpy-ass coach and the Trump support and the occasional blatant cheating also plays a part.

Some also hate them because of a certain football game in the 2004 season(and especially because they might have cheated in said game).

On the sigh thing, you didn’t explain till later.

You really couldn’t understand that this:

If only it were possible for all teams to lose all of their games, then everyone would be disappointed. That’d sure make me happy.

?

was an attempt at asking for an explanation as to why all teams losing and everyone being disappointed would make you happy?

My post was so self-explanatory that I didn’t think it needed explanation. I obviously was expressing distaste for sports fandoms.

oh. Oh well.

I posted the sigh without context because your question mark and the post telling me that it was a question mark were as obnoxious and unhelpful as your contextless sighs.

You posted “If only it were possible for all teams to lose all of their games, then everyone would be disappointed. That’d sure make me happy.” I wondered why this is and sob I quoted you and posted the question mark. I thought it was clear I was asking for an explanation.

The back slashes go before each asterisk, like this:

\*sigh\*

If people don’t want me to sigh anymore, they shouldn’t do it themselves.

I’m not giving him shit, I’m suggesting an alternate and less-drastic solution.

If that’s what he needs though then good on him.

I’ve been annoyed with this piece of shit since day one. Touchscreens are a pain in the ass and the battery barely lasts half an afternoon. That and I just hate seeing other people using them made this seem like the most logical choice. I’ve said I was going to go back to my Razr for years, even on this forum. I’m glad I finally did.

It seems like you got a crappy smartphone.

Yes, most batteries last more than half an afternoon. Of course if you are using constantly, that will drain the battery faster.

I finally got rid of my smartphone. What a relief.

Why is that a good thing?

Smartphones are annoying and prolonged use of them is linked to negative emotional states.

I think you’re talking about social media. How is having a smartphone linked to negative emotions?

"Twenge’s research found that teens who spend five or more hours per day on their devices are 71 percent more likely to have one risk factor for suicide. And that’s regardless of the content consumed. Whether teens are watching cat videos or looking at something more serious, the amount of screen time — not the specific content — goes hand in hand with the higher instances of depression. "

Are you a teen? Sounds like the thing to do is to reduce one’s use to less than fire hours.

Really? I can’t how other people’s smartphone are annoying, but your own? I would think the negative emotional states would depend upon your emotion state in general and what you do on your smart phone and where you go in the net with it.

Also I hate touchscreens and a shitty battery.

Not much you can do about touchscreens, all new phones have that. But I am pretty sure some batteries are better than others.
