you've all made great points on the reparations issues. I agree with what I alot of you have said. I think giving it to some sort of project to help minorities out might be for the best.

Yes I do. But, do we have the right to assume they wouldn't? The point is, if we agree that reparations should have been paid to the slaves in the first place, then did we not deny the slaves their right to save the money and pass it on?

I have questions for legal experts. If my father dies of lung cancer obtained by smoking, can I sue the tobaco companies on his behalf? What would happend if again my father obtained lung cancer via smoking, sued the tobaco companies himself, won the case, but before any money was rewarded, he died. Would the tobaco companies no longer have to pay because he is dead?


My family was discriminated against for being Irish, back when the Irish were less than dirt and there were signs in the window that said "No Irish need apply". They dug themselves out through hard work and dedication, not unfair quota systems.

that is a good point, and one somene should ask before assuming racism or sexism. But that fact is, somtimes it unfortunatly does happen that someone is discriminated against. because of skin color. Sad but true.

Watch the movie "Crash" it makes some really good points, shows some good issues about the whole racial injustices/stereotypes.

I have. It is a great movie, and makes some great points on the issue. Someday I plan to add the movie to my DVD collection.

Ok, I will try to explain again. If we all agree that reparations should have been paid to the actual slaves, what would happend to the money(if they did not spend it) after the slaves died? It would have gone to the slave's relatives. That is why the relatives should get paid.

I wonder........could this whole infinite crisis be a trap for Superman of Earth2? Could this whole thing be a set up to get Superman of Earth2 out his paradise so he could be killed? If Jason Todd could come back, could Luther of Earth2 have come back? He would have motive to kill Superman of Earth2 Is this possible?

the "Dead Thread" thing is a normal practice on this forum. Most of the time it is respected. Although of course it is unofficial. It is used to end duplicate threads, threads that are useless, or to prevent flaming. I believe this is a useless thread

I only hope he does play for another team, Then when that team plays the Eagles, we get to kick his a**.

does anyone else agree that the most vile man in the NFL is Tom Benson, the owner of the Saints. Instead of trying to give New Orleans hope, he tries to take advantage of the disaster and move his team to L.A. What a greedy bastard!

BTW: for now on I will be refering to T.O. as Me.O. because that is all he cares about, me(meaning himself).
