If you need to B*tch about something... this is the place
Time

Ok, I need to b**** about the Windows 10. When I went to bed last night, I left my computer running. I had no real reason to, but it is my computer and if I want to keep it running all night, that should be my right. When I came back to my computer for the first time today, I found out it had automatically restarted for an update. I have no problem having a setting to automatically download, and install updates and restart the computer when necessary. But,

IT SHOULDN’T BE FORCED ON ME!!!

I should be able to set it so it doesn’t automatically restart. I should be able to set my computer to only update manually. But no the stupid forking people at Microsoft don’t seem to understand that! I’m mean how idiotic and stupid do you have to be to not understand that owners of computers should have the right to only update when they want to?!?! This should be basic. My computer should not restart itself unless I want it too. Have these idiots never heard of someone leaving program running overnight??!!?? I would never do it, but I have such a desire to find and beat up Bill Gates. This is just utterly stupid.

My dad has Parkinson’s Disease, and he received prayer at this morning’s Church service. I’m hoping that he can be healed soon. I’m just asking that those here who believe would keep him in your prayers.

Thank you.

certainly!

Also, would those that pray, please pray for God to give us the strength to get through my Father’s funeral tomorrow.

thank you both.

Just got back from planning the funeral. Its on Monday. I am not looking forward to it. Its going to be a hard day.

I wish I could say something to comfort you, but I feel it’d be hollow. I only wish you the best and hope that the pain heals in time.

its ok, I feel the same when others have experienced the loss of a loved one. I find it difficult to find the words.

thank you. I know I keep repeating that, but I just don’t know what else to right now.

You don’t need to say anything else. I can’t imagine what you’re going through. It’s hard for me to imagine that anything I can say would make you feel consoled.

but you have made feel consoled, all of you here have, and I thank you.

This is interesting.

http://fivethirtyeight.com/features/when-does-praying-in-public-make-others-uncomfortable/

what about silently praying, without asking anyone to join in?

“I’ll pray for you,” Silverman hears, “You’re different from me and I’ll pray for you to change.

to be clear, that is never what I mean, when I say “I’ll pray for you”. When I pray for someone, pray for the help they need with whatever problem they are dealing with, or wisdom to deal with said problem. I normally reserve the “I’ll pray for you” comment, for when someone tells me they are facing serious difficulty or something like that.

A couple of weeks ago I had probably my most nerve racking Monday.
I went for an interview for my dream job. It’s working for the Mental Health Foundation.
It’s an organisation I respect, The hours are great, the pay is good and I was utterly terrified.
I start on Monday.

Congratulations!

Thanks Warb, I will be thinking about you on my first day. Nothing quite prepares one for what you are experiencing. I hope fortune shines brighter on your family soon.

thankyou.
