I don’t think they should cooperate with him. I think they should fight him. I think they should filibuster like crazy. At least filibuster any attempt to repeal Obamacare. Also filibuster any attempt to confirm an Supreme Court nominee until Merrick Garland(Obama’s Supreme Court nominee) gets an up or down vote. Or perhaps filibuster any Trump nominee for a length of time equaling the time from date of the nomination of Merrick Garland to the end the Obama Presidency. Send a message.

Absolutely.

Of course they’ll then just kill the filibuster so it won’t matter.

I don’t think the Republicans have a filibuster-proof majority.

I am just talking about walking out on one speech. But no, I don’t think they should cooperate with him. I think they should fight him. I think they should filibuster like crazy. If you ask me, at Trump’s first address to the the both house the Dems should walk out as soon as he gets to the podium.

That kind of behavior would be great for Trump. It would dramatically shift public opinion to his favor.

I don’t think so.

If not a single Democrat was willing to do their job because the person they don’t like won the election, the Republicans would win even bigger majorities in the midterms.

I am not talking about having the Dems refuse to do there jobs, just walk out on one Trump speech.

To everyone that prays:

There are family members of those that belong to our church. They have a baby with a very serious lung condition. I think the child was born premature. I don’t know all of the details, but I know that they doctors have said there is nothing more they can do. I fear the baby might not have very long to live. It is in God’s hands now. I can’t imaging what this family is going through. I ask all here that pray, to pray for the baby, and her family and friend and all those treating her.

There has been too little improvement in her condition. They are going to take her off the the machines that are keeping the baby alive. Please continue to pray.

@7:25 PM, the baby passed away. Please pray for family. Thankyou.

Can’t even imagine.

I can’t either.

You won’t have to listen to crap a year from now feris; they will all be in prison by then.

Doom saying. And no they wont, they’ll be at every event Trump is for the foreseeable future.

That’s not doomsaying. That’s how protesters are dealt with in many countries.

But its not how protesters are dealt with here.

Protestors and rioters are two different things.

agreed.

Now I think you are purposely being annoying.

(If I hadn’t promised to back down, I’d tell you what I think you here.)

There is no need to berate me verbally. Back off please. You have been askedd politely and publicly numerous times by me. This is the last time I will ask. Thank you.

I said I’d back down. I am not berating you verbally.

You have a right to your opinion wrong or right as do I so I am unsure why being right matters so much to you even if it is just your opininion.

huh?

Anyways, this conversation is ending, we need to get back on topic please.

Thank you.

ok and what was the topic? Something to do with Ferris responding my idea of the Dems walking out on Trump’s first address to Congress and Whistle blowers. Alright then.

What if the Republicans had done that to Obama?

Obama has probably the worst record with regards to the protections of whistle blowers rights.

What do whistle blowers have to do with what Ferris and I were discussing?

I was talking to ferris, not responding to anything you said, sorry if you got that idea somehow.

the question remains.

No, we have a long history of putting protesters in jail. Just look up Henry David Thoreau or Martin Luther King, to name a few examples.

I guess you’ve forgotten about our 1st amendment.

Though, you did start talking, about Constitutional Rights.

???

  1. I don’t know how to make it clearer but to say it again. I was not talking to you.

the fact that you were not talking to me, does not answer the question. You responded to Ferris by quoting a conversation he was having with me. What did that conversation have to do with whistle blowers.

  1. You told generalfrievous he forgot about the 1st Amendment (Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.) … it is part of the Constitution, is it not? It’s a Constitutional Right?

Well of course it is a Constitutional Amendment. What is your point?

Or am I wrong because I said it?

You’re wrong because you’re not making any sense.

You say Trump is going to destroy a nation but the outgoing President has his own little skeletons in his closet that didn’t garner media attention … like persecuting whistle blowers and denying them their 4th Amendment rights to such protection.

If you think I agree with everything Obama did, you are wrong.
