Quit crying and find a better candidate next time.

I’m not crying for me. I’m a old(ish) straight male white millionaire US citizen, my life is good. It’s the people that don’t fall into that category that I cry for.

Anyone who thinks Clinton and Trump would have been equally bad is deluded.

You’re a millionaire‽

Maybe.

And I’m surprised that people voted for a hate-filled, divisive, classless, racist, vile, sexist, hypocritical pussy grabber, but here we are!

Thanks to the DNC’s corruption, they weren’t given a definitively better alternative.

Sure.

Well, it would have been nice if the Dems would have had someone better than Hillary.

I will have to revisit this when I’m an old man, but personally I would like to save that kind of leering for younger women.

Give those dames some respect!

Younger women? Are these young enough for you?

8 years old, 12 years old, 14 years old, 15 years old…

I am going to hope he meant women that were at least 18 years of age.

The Place to Go for Emotional Support

Damn, it’s been a depressing day but our local community really came together. The love and support is so strong and I just appreciate how much everyone cares in our community. It’s quite a rough day to go through. Every class period felt so empty even though classes were filled. The sadness and quiet remorse was abound. Time to go to bed and take on the next day with more renewed vigor than before. Sometimes you really forget how precious life is. I now really feel the need to value it more than ever.

Yeah, I remember back when I was in high school and a student I didn’t know in an upper class had died(I can’t remember the cause). I remember that day. I remember walking into my homeroom that morning. My homeroom was always loud and talkative, the teachers always had a problem getting them to shut up when they were supposed to. That morning the room was dead silent. I remember people were crying all day and gathering around her locker. A sad day it was.

Yeah, I really don’t know anything for sure.
After a quick look at the IMDb page, it says this:

The movie begins in 1979, with a brief flashback establishing the long and tragic history of criminal activity within, and by, the Corleone family.

I’ve only see Part 3 twice, so I don’t remember if there’s another flashback after the one that sums up the events of 1 & 2…

JEDIT: Just found this description on a youtube video of the AMC flashback:

This alternate opening is not featured in any of the releases. It includes a montage of clips from the past two movies and a voice over by Al Pacino

Looks like it’s just on the AMC version, but was put together with Al’s VO when the film was originally made and it was decided to cut it.

Well that seems to clear it up. Thank you.

Could you please post a link for this youtube video?

Like I said, I’ve only seen Part 3 twice. Once on VHS, once years ago on AMC. That accounts for the confused memories.
It’s weird that AMC uses it though. They only show these movies as a marathon, so who needs the catching up? (I watched Parts 1 & 2 twice over the weekend, but skipped 3 both times)

I agree with you.

I am getting conflicting info I asked this same question on another site

I just saw Godfather 3 other day on AMC. It had an alternate beginning. The beginning showed scenes from the other 2 movies, sort of letting the viewer know what happened so far. I have the DVD and Blu ray of the movie, that is not the beginning of the movie on the discs. It also not the alternate beginning included withe the extras on the disc. Was this something AMC created or what? Anyone know anything about this?

and got this answer:

It was something AMC created. They’ve show that before

I am confused.

What rules did Warbler break?

I am accused of violating rule 6, back 02/14 when I posted this: http://originaltrilogy.com/post/id/1046627 .

To that I say prove it. It is unclear in the post what I was applauding. For all that is known I was applauding a win of one of the sports teams I am fan of. It can not be proven I applauding any specific incident on the forum. There is not specific reference to a forum member in the post. Therefore, I do not see how it could be found to be a violation of rule 6. As always of course, mine is not the opinion that matters. Only the mods opinions count. I am just simply arguing my case.

I’m glad the AHCA failed miserably; I still think the Republican party are just a bunch of subhuman scum that doesn’t deserve to live, but then that’s just my frustration blowing off steam.

I don’t think you can excuse calling for genocide by saying you’re “just blowing off steam.”

Republicans hate every single human being that isn’t white, male, straight, christian, and/or unborn. They have done everything in their power to shove their delusional vision of America down our throats, even when 90% of the country opposes their policies. They believe the wealthiest of the wealthy should be protected from taxation at any cost, even if 24 MILLION PEOPLE HAVE TO DIE to achieve that goal. They are infinitely worse than every single evil political party that has ever existed in the last 100 years. They are beyond dangerous, and they are headed by one of the most evil men in history, Donald Trump.

All republicans are clinical sociopaths. They do not deserve any fucking sympathy. We are in the worst period in human history and it’s all their fault.

Ridiculous doom saying.

Understatement of the eon.

Which I was under the impression was against the rules in this thread, but mods don’t seem to be doing anything.
