Yeah, I as I understand, with DACA, we are talking about illegal immigrants that came here when kids. the overwhelming majority did so with their parents. They can’t have known the ramifications involved in what they were doing. They were just do what their parents told them to do. Many would have been way too young when crossing the border to have any understanding of what they were doing.

Never saw or heard about Hedwig. I also have never seen Rocky Horror. I have seen Cabaret and Jesus Christ Superstar. I remember watching a local production of Cabaret. The actor playing the Nazi singing the last line at the end of act 1 “Tomorrow Belongs to me” was quite chilling. I sometimes watch in the movie version of Jesus Christ Superstar at Easter time. It is not quite my style of music, but I like it.

I have not as of yet changed my opinions about giving my opinion on racial issues, if that is what you mean. Maybe if I had to do over again, I would say some things differently. Maybe I wouldn’t say some things and maybe there are things I wish I had said. I am still thinking about it.

Final, Final day at my current job today.
It feels weird.
I did two ten hour shifts this week to clear my desk. So now I’ve kind of run out of things to do but a co-worker who is also leaving today and myself are really not sure what is happening next. very strange 😄

The funding for our service came to an end and the organisation I have been in secondment to dragged their feet putting in funding bids. So I haven’t been sacked, my employers were very pleased with my contribution but I haven’t got anything to move onto. I’ve made lots of applications but nothing successful yet. To cap it off my partner has decided to move in the spring. He owns the house but I own the contents so that’s a added layer of stress I could do without at the moment.

At best, this is very insensitive to what is going on in the country right now and with all the problems cops are having with the African American community.

I’m leaning towards this, as well. That said, it’s a horrible joke on a lot of levels.

Agreed, especially when you consider that it is in regards to a number of African Americans that have been shot and/or killed by the police. Even if the police were justified in all the various cases, you don’t joke about something like that.
