ok, I loath Christmas stuff out of season.
That can only mean one thing…the inundating of the radio airwaves with God awful Christmas songs. I love the Christmas season, but I loathe Christmas music.
The seasonal music channel on my cable system stopped the Halloween stuff at 5 am and went right into Christmas music as they always do.
‽ Is there no Thanksgiving music? My God, Christmas music should be banned until Thanksgiving Day is over.
One year they started at 3 pm on Halloween, much to my horror.

One time the Christmas music kept playing into March.

There haven’t been too many animated Thanksgiving tv specials, so I can’t imagine there are catchy songs about it. Maybe if Rankin/Bass had cranked out Rudolph saves Thanksgiving?
Thanksgiving movies tend to about the Pilgrims or somber family dramas. Then there’s Free Birds which is way too disturbing for a kid’s movie.As for the music channels, I suspect they are highly automated and seldom checked on. I heard some weirdness this year where one song was playing in the background of another and this happened more than once. Last year I definitely heard some sort of hard drive hiccup.
They program mushy romantic stuff for Feb now, so I doubt the never-ending Christmas fest will happen again.

What kills me the most about Christmas music is the constant non-stop air play of the same 10 songs…argh!
There are way more than 10 Christmas songs, especially if you add in the religious Christmas music.

Unfortunately people do get murdered all the time, but an attack like this does not happen all the time(I certainly hope it do not become routine). I wasn’t trying to distract from my country’s political problems and corruptions. I was just talking about an attack that happened today who that quote indicates who was behind it. How this invites copy cat violence, I do not know.
Its a sad factor of mass shootings and crimes like this one that the perpetrators are seeking infamy to conclude their unregarded life. By publicising the supposed religious angle to these murders it does give people a hook to build their murder/suicide delusions on. “I’ll make them remember me”
Unfortunately, these mass murders are news stories and therefore so are the motivations of the murderer.

Now there are saying the truck driver in NY attack shouted “Allahu Akbar!”
But if it is in fact documented . . .
How do we know that he actually felt this way at all?
