team negative1 - star wars 1977 - 35mm theatrical version (Released)
Time

I think the BD25 option sounds great (as a BDMV file, correct?) and like -1 said I am curious to see how folks will embrace harmy's BD25 release. I'm all in favor of this because although I do not yet have a blu-ray burner, I'm confident my blu-ray program (or other video programs) on my computer will be able to play the file. That said, I hope other fans feel similarly because I can't imagine wanting to experience this in anything less than 1080p (though I'm sure a DVD-9 would still blow GOUT away).

Also, -1. What kind of work have you done with authoring/preparing to author the disc (menus, etc.), I'm mostly curious as to what style menu you're going for (personally I prefer something simple and classy, like darkjedi's V3 dvds).

Thanks again.

Thanks for the reply. I wasn't really asking/demanding for any clips and I totally see what you want this thread to be for. I have been looking at a lot of other threads and and the work you've been putting into cleanup, etc. and that has really done the job of illustrating to me what kind of work is being done to ultimately make this version presentable and all of your work whether it's just playing around with the red reel has thrilled me. It just has been fun for me to visualize a final version, but I know the wait will be worth it. I'll keep all talk of film cleanup work, etc. to the other threads and it makes tons of sense for you to want the project to stand on its own rather than unleash incomplete teases. I'm really looking forward to any/all updates and appreciate all that you're putting into this.......and all other posts by me will remain on topic. Thanks again.

Harmy's STAR WARS Despecialized Edition HD - V2.7 - MKV (Released)
Time

had to chime in eventually...Harmy, this release is truly amazing, I'm proud even to have downloaded it. I really can't wait for the 2.0s of Empire and Jedi, hopefully they will stand right beside this release in terms of quality and effort, we'll I'm sure they will, just can't wait (question, will Empire and Jedi be sourced from the Blu-rays as well?). Just noting that I downloaded from Myspleen with no issues and will seed as long as I am able to. But again, thank you so much Harmy for all of your work.
