And here it very well may be: http://www.monicammartin.com/naughtyfactfiles.html

Way too much time on your hand there Greencapt.

Dreams
Time
Ok, I had this dream last night that I was at someone's house upstairs just sitting at a computer for some reason.

Then I see, of all people, Richard Dean Anderson just walking down the stairs.

I don't think anything of it, I just think "Hey, I need him to sign my MacGuyver Season 1 DVD."

So I walk down the stairs and when I get to the bottom I'm suddenly at Grand Central Station and I see RDA just sitting on a bench.

It is then I remember that I forgot my DVDs and then some guy, which I apparently knew in my dream, walks up and says "Hey, its Richard Dean Anderson."

So we walk up to him and suddenly forgot what he acted in, so we were just like "Hey, I've seen you before, weren't you on Stargate or something?"

Then it just ended.

The wierd thing is that I don't even have a Stargate or MacGuyver DVD and I've really never seen either show.

Advanced Placement testing thread

Like I said, the majority was a piece of cake, I only had trouble with the extremely obscure questions in the last twenty questions.

I'm pretty sure I got 48 out of the first 50 correct, I was blazing through that thing.

I probably only got like 10 out of the last twenty though.

I just hope that it was enough to get a 4, because at our school our principal shells out some money if you make two fours on any two AP tests.

You can either get a free laptop, or 1000 bucks to put towards a laptop at your university of choice.

About 45 percent of the people actually try on the AP exam, the other 55 are just doing it to get the 2 quality points added to their GPA due to some stupid county policy that says AP test is related to AP Credit at your school; and about 20% of the people out of the fourty-five that try aren't too bright, and out of the other 80%, 40% will make fours and about 20% of that 40% will make a four on another exam.

Hopefully I'll be the the 20% of the 40% of the 40% of the 80% of the 45%.

digital projection is RAD - ROTS
Time
I think this theory goes back to something I saw on mverta's site.

Digital films are calibrated so that the contrast is extremely high and everything is set to an extreme level, everything high or everything low.

This cuts out the middle ground which is where all of the "warmth" and depth of the image is, it makes it flat and lifeless, making it seem fake altogether.

You should get yourself an official Indiana Jones fedora. I've seen one in a catalog over the past few months. My dad ordered one back in the mid-80s through the Lucasfilm/Star Wars Fan Club and he wore it for years. I remember the catalog specifically because its the best hat he's ever had, and he wants another.

I don't go in for costumes, except on Halloween. Next Wednesday, the most I'll do is a 'Han Shot First' T-shirt and a extra long belt with a custom lightsaber stuck in it.

Thats the one I have right now.

Its good as a starter, but there are so many better ones out there that actually look like the Indy Fedora and are so much better quality.

This is the one I'm saving up for BTW: http://www.adventurebilthats.com/.(you can get a discount price if you know the way, like I do).

Not Star Wars costumes, no. But I am into Indiana Jones costumes (although the term "gear" is more accurate).

Slowly, piece by piece, but it is happening.

BTW, are those Macrobinoculars that Submarine game?

Video Games - a general discussion thread
Time
Considering the fact I live in NC, no.

Unless I decide to go to the Mall in Myrtle Beach on some odd day to buy a game...

This is totally off-topic, but while taking my US History AP test today (made by CollegeBoard mind you) there was a question about some name of some army (I completely forgot what it was) but one of the answer choices, along with like the regular army names, was "Grand Army of the Republic"

There is no way in HELL that is a coincidence, no way.
