Edit: I changed the name of this thread so that we could discuss other PC games. I know there is a video game thread but I wanted a one specifically about PC games. Hope this is allright.

I have it, and enjoyed what I played of it, but it totally crapped out on me about three hours in and no matter what I've tried I can't get it to work again on my PC. That was when it first came out.

And, these days, our graphics card is on the brink of death, with lines on the screen and whatnot. Which sucks, because it cost us a pretty healthy chunk of change.

I agree totally here, its only too bad that it hasn't had any substantial third-party support for the last three or so years.

The "Random Thoughts" Thread

Isn't it weird that regardless of how many members this site has as a whole, that there are only 13 or so people that have EVER really posted in the Off-Topic section more than twice?

And these 13 or so people keep this section of the boards ALIVE and HEALTHY and BLOATED with all sorts of topics with no signs of anyone not being interested in any topic set before them.

Scarface is a mixed bag for me.

Sure, it is a decent enough film, and I've seen it a few times, but I still don't like the fact that it has been totally bastardized into a "gangsta" symbol by today's culture.

I mean, did any of these people WATCH Scarface? Did they not understand the POINT that it was trying to make? Its almost like someone watching Super Size Me and then going to McDonalds everyday because of it.

I may have told this story before, but a guy I used to play Halo with back when we used to go all out, actually quit school and moved away because of his FFXI addiction.

It all started when he was out for an operation for a few days, next thing you know he was hooked and even after the Doctor said he was cleared to go back to school he refused to leave the house.

His best friend would call him and he would make excuses as to why he couldn't come hang out(meanwhile you could hear the FFXI theme music in the background).

Last thing I heard he went back with his father on their boat back to his dad's home in Florida.
