I'm having trouble Identifying a show I saw on cartoon network's Toonami from around 97-98 I'll see what info I can remember about it.

I know there are a bunch of Jets that can turn into humanoid mechs.

The most distinct visual memory that I can remember is that close to the end of the series the pilot of the mech was laying in some desert with a woman cradling his head (he is injured) after they crashed the mech about 10 miles from a huge city after blowing up a huge spaceship in the sky(in which he flew in and blew up the core I think).

And I know that this Anime is not Robotech and I'm pretty sure that it is not any Gundam Series.

I know its not much, but can anyone identify it?

I usually get alot because my Mom and Dad, and my Grandma and Grandpa like to start early Christmas shopping in like August and by the time Christmas comes around they have drawn out shopping so much by spending 20 dollars here and 50 there over so many months that its like "What in the world is that under the tree? I don't remember buying that...or that...what is this?"

Another possibility is using the alien language tracks from the KOTOR video games, there are about 8 or 9 distinct languages and you could pick and choose.

I hate mail-in rebates that require you to make a million copies of a receipt that is 12 miles long and another million copies of the upc that is printed onto the box for 5 dollars here and 3 dollars there to a million different companies (of course the store advertises one lump sum of a rebate)

Note: there is no exaggeration in this post

The Collectors Edition is simply a Limited Edition release of all of the Radio Dramas on 16 CDs with special bonus tracks.

These have been out of print since 1996 but they don't seem too hard to come by.

And don't worry, these have nothing to do with the SEs.

I got mine off of Amazon for $90 bucks new.

It is $195 at retail supposedly but I've never seen the collector's at retail, I've only seen the seperate cassette collections at retail stores.

But Amazon has it new for $122.85 and they have some "Used and New" from as low as $80.

Edit: It seems the seller I got it from (bodean888) has another copy up for the same price I got mine, still factory sealed(as mine was).
