You see, I’m making a video review of Halloween III: Season of the Witch, and, initially, I was going to rip my copy of the movie and just slap it in my editing timeline and cut it up.

But, there’s a problem, well, 2 problems.

1:
I have the old Universal DVD, so it would look like crap next to my HD footage when all is said and done.

2:
I have no way of ripping said DVD, due to the fact that my laptop has no disc drive.

Would someone be kind enough to provide me with a copy of the movie to use?
Credit will be given. (and if I forget it, please remind me.)

These are built off of the 2012 blu-ray covers for Alien, Aliens, Alien³ and Alien Resurrection
I managed to make these all within the span of 2 hours, so I hope you guys like them!

Actually this doesn’t seem like such a crazy idea. And it could be a cool way to involve forum members who like to edit but don’t have the time or resources to do a feature-length fan edit.

By the way, this edit will have to be in 720p due to current storage reasons.

Basically, this is my attempt to cut all of Halloween 5’s ties to Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers.

Changelist (open to suggestions):

• “The Revenge of Michael Myers” subtitle added to title card
• Trimmed Thorn symbol reveal on Michael’s wrist when he wakes up
• All Man in Black scenes cut, thus reducing the movie’s runtime by about 6 minutes
• Extra music added to credits, until the second part of the credits music
• New, slightly more vibrant color grade.

Let me know what else I should add!

(yes, I will also do an alternate reduced-Tina version.)

Halloweens 4 and 5 seem to be in a weird state of semi-public domain on Youtube, being still held under the majority of copyright laws, but still being legally (I think) distributed by other people on the platform.
