You could always spend a crap ton of money on a film print of the SE and scan it in at 720p or 1080p.
I like the use of the period Fox logos, it’s a nice touch.

My grandparents have a 1991 TV recording of ROTJ the 2000 SE tapes, and the GOUT release of Empire.
I have the 2001 TPM, 2002 AOTC, 2005 ROTS, thin-case GOUT trilogy, 1997 SE tapes, the 2015 steelbooks for the OT, TFA Blu-Ray/DVD combo with Walmart slip, standard DVD releases of TLJ, Solo and TROS, and the Blu-Ray/DVD combo of Rouge One, so if we’re only counting the dupes, I have bought/received the OT 4 times. (the 2000 tapes have been passed on to me because my grandma doesn’t need them anymore thanks to cable TV)
For me, I either call it Empire Strikes Back (normal), Empire (conversational), or Episode V (conversational, special edition).
At this point, Star Wars and A New Hope are two separate entities.
I have confidence that they will add Jar Jar into the trilogy.
ROTJ - entrance into mos eisley there are 2 droids fighting. It’s a little slap stickish, but don’t mind.
ROTJ - end celebration, but with older Anakin as a force being (whatever), not the kid from ep1

What’s with the distortion and white specks though? It had other kinds of visual artefacts.

It could be a bootleg with a scan of a less-than-stellar tape or print.
If all else fails, there is a t-shirt with the 3 lightsabers from the VHS sleeves, you could try to scan that in.
Reminds me of those hardcover concept art books for the OT, I like that.
Ever since I bought the soundtrack, (on used vinyl for $5 on Star Wars Day!) I’ve always been fond of the poster that came with it. I’m surprised there aren’t more fanboxes that use this art.

I liked Temple of Doom…
New effects in Temple of Doom and make it clear that it takes place before Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Some touch-up work on all 4 movies would be nice too.
