What is your opinion on something like the Archie Goodwin comic strip, or Splinter of the Mind's Eye, or any other early material (1978-1985)?
TFN reminds me of the kind of people they spoof in every single spoof of a Star Wars fan ever.
I view us as halfway intelligent.

There was a limited theatrical release one in 2006 that I think is the single worst butchering in history. For 3 reasons...
1. Anthropomorphic animal cast (Scrooge is a skunk!)
2. Tiny Tim is alive in the Yet to Come segment!
3. The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come can talk!
Add that with animation from PS2 cutscenes and you have yourself a film so bad it was posted on YouTube once and nobody cared.
Uh, #1 and #3 also apply to the Mickey version you know. #1 also applies to the Muppets. ;)
Tiny Tim not dying sounds almost as bad a everyone getting safely off the ship in the animated Titanic.
And now I must find this thing!
Ok, let me explain. I don't mind the animal cast if it's tied to some other existing license (I like the Muppets and Disney versions) but this is just so poorly animated and the choice is so weird to me that I had to include.
And in the Disney version, it's a reveal, and again, tied to an existing character. In this version, he NEVER SHUTS UP!

Yes, but they were so crap-spewlingly terrifying that I chose to exclude them Besides, he said live-action versions.

I saw ACC figurines in a gift shop last night. Nothing enhances your holiday decor like a figure of Christmas Present showing off the little friends who live under his robe. ;)
That scene really creeped me out in the George C. Scott version. Do any other filmed versions include it?
The ghost of Christmas Present is freakier than Christmas Future because of that scene. It was very random and unsettling.
"You're a jolly, fun chap! We should hang out more! Huh, what was that? You're. . . you're hiding starved children. Under your robe. Oh. OK, well. . . I'll call you sometime. Yeeeeah."
I still venture he's scariest in the Muppets version. That loose mouth, the constant smile, the head bobbing... *shudders*
*Yes, I was only joking.

Scrooged's Ghost of Christmas Future does give him a run for the money though. ;)
Oh god, don't remind me.
Allistair Sim's version has it, as well as the Patrick Stewart one. I'm not sure of any others.
They're named Ignorance and Want, by the way.
I had to have something to go off of, didn't I?
A lasting question answered. Thank you.
What next?

On TFN they can't seem to grasp the concept of a villain who's not a Sith.
You know, maybe because I never frequented TFN or any such site, but I was never desensitized to this. I think I'm starting to understand where you're coming from.
My apologies for any past rudeness.

I'm well aware. I enjoy a nice cliffhanger once in a while.
Ah... Clone Wars era stories. A mixed bag if ever there was one. Excepting the 2003 series, of course.
Need I say more?
OF COURSE!!
The only thing I hate about the EU are the forced ties between the OT and PT. Granted, some things deserve exploration (Leia's relationship with Bail Organa), but some later books have contradictory stuff just to give the OT a closer tie to the prequels. For instance, there exists one EU novel out there where it's stated that R2 recorded that conversation Anakin and Padme had about his nightmares, and then he plays it for Luke.
R2's kind of nosey, if that's true. I mean, unnecessarily recording a private conversation? That's kinda weird.

Oh, come on! Just because I don't see the appeal for you guys in a rather pointless side-character is no reason to find me less appealing. Surely ONE difference in opinion does not affect things so drastically?
I'm not sure if you are being serious, but I wasn't.
I wasn't either.
;)

Arguably the hardest one of all, considering just how horrendous the ESB GOUT is. I predict you'll be seeking some assistance from other sources?
Best of luck, either way.
Give the OP a break. Unless you yourself have done a project all by yourself that you can share for reference, why be snarky?
:(
?!?!?!?!?
I think he thought I was being sarcastic.
Yay! You found the perfect one! I was hoping something existed like that.
The question is, are you?
