Not every film can be Red Zone Cuba.
Not every film can be Red Zone Cuba.
Mara is too good for the new canon. Too good for the old canon, too, to be frank.
Can’t tell if Superweapon VII is being sarcastic, I’m guessing so?
Absolutely.
I recognize tokenism as a problem in Hollywood, but the rank toxicity spewed by the anti-SJWs is not a justified resposnse.
Maybe an animated series of the entire Star Wars saga would be more interesting. To see classic events from the original films told from a different point of view, maybe from different characters too. With the goal of a 9 film series being written a lot more coherently.
This. Exactly This. I have always thought a traditional anime style retelling of the entire star wars saga would be fantastic. It would have to be done traditionally though, none of this CGI fake anime style. I would love the style of art to be similar to something along the lines of Neon Genesis Evangelion or Akira.
I don’t have a problem with anime, but I’d prefer a more western style. Something harkening back to '80s/'90s Saturday morning cartoons.
Frickin’ blacks, feminists, and queers. They all need to go back to Africa, the kitchen, and the closet. Tolkien is for the white, super-straight ubermensch. Cleanse Hollywood of degenerate art. Deus vult.
I remember reading reading in the official Star Wars database, before the Disney takeover, that Mace and Qui-Gon didn’t see eye to eye.
That makes sense, as Liam Neeson is 2 inches taller than Samuel L Jackson
Perhaps not a jerk, per se, but he definitely had a stick up his ass.
Lando should’ve died in ROTJ.
- LISTEN TO THE FANS
Quoth the Stan Lee, “Never give the fans what they think they want.”
In that case, we will never see the untouched original trilogy get a proper remaster.
They didn’t mean the OOT restoration, they meant with storytelling stuff. Y’know, like the R-rated Vader movie idea or Plagueis being Snoke. Those ideas.
And just to clarify, I believe the PT & ST are the biggest examples of “giving the fans what they think they want”.
I’d rather count to googolplex.

I think I would unironically hire 3 different groups to do simultaneous reboots of the entire saga
“Before me you are a slug in the sun. You are privy to a great Becoming and you recognize nothing. You are an ant in the afterbirth. It is your nature to do one thing correctly: tremble. But fear is not what you owe me. No, Lounds. You and the others, you owe me awe!”
Maybe she got cloned. Maybe her name’s Paadme.
if I bought SW, either in 2012 or today, first thing I’d do is give the OOT (and maybe the 97SE) a proper remastering/re-release. Then I’d cancel all copyrights and release everything Star Wars into the public domain.
Writing this answer. Now I’m done.
Considering that Palps had a clone body in TROS, the way he died in ROTJ doesn’t matter.
Killing him differently couldn’t prevent producers and script writers bringing him back by cloning.
I dunno. Can an evil ghost escape the event horizon of a black hole?
Yes, but only if I’m the one to do it, and only if I’m allowed full creative control.
Prowse would have worked fine as Anakin’s ghost, but not as unmasked, dying Anakin. He would have looked too strong and healthy.
With the right makeup/lighting, I’m sure he could’ve pulled it off.
“Boba Fett” is a stupid name. I wouldn’t be surprised if Kershner or whomever realized that during production of TESB, which is why he’s only ever referred to as “bounty hunter” in the final film.
Donald Trump will cum
I heard all the reasons about Hayden and the Redeeming nonsense created his ghost to become young again lol,
crap…Shaw is a bad choice as well to be honest, since Anakin/Vader died at 45
Anakin/Vader only died at 45 after the prequels made him so young. Shaw was a perfectly fine choice in 1983.
Yes, but we’re no longer in 1983. Like it or not, there are other films now, and we must see things in a more united context. Ghost Shaw worked well in 1983, but It doesn’t anymore.
True — if you accept the PT as valid. If you don’t…
But like I said before, it should’ve always been Prowse.
