Ya, congrats

The idea for the fan banner section is cool I suppose, but I wouldn't make it automated ==> too much work, and little turn out

Only RRS & I have made custom banners (as far as I know, please fill me in as to who made the other ones in use.) With so few contributers, it would not be worth your while - in my opinion, whatever that is worth to you guys, especially Jay

Thanks. I didn't mean for it to come out so pink though; I just wanted something that would stand out more than the other dull colors you guys had been using (the grey, dull brown, slate blue.)

I think you should just go with a Toys/Memorabilia forum. The buying-selling would would work well for a while, but once the regulars run out of stuff, it will be a pretty much dead forum. Instead, allow for the buying and selling of toys & such in that forum.

I guess I voted prematurely....mine was the only "no." After actually reading the thread, I do think it is a pretty good idea, but it would be a bit complicated. You would have to adveritise it on the web somehow... And, to answer Jay's Q about whether or not the site traffic will support a forum like that, I'd say no; from what I've seen, this site moves pretty slow w/ only a few avid posters and 385 users in all. But what do I know...so far I'm just a Padawan Learner

BTW, (off topic I know) but did you get a look at the banner I made for the site Jay? I sent it to you via email...PM me.

Hey...I figured this was the right place to post this. I made a new banner for the site...if anyone cares to see/use it. It is a bit larger(40 bytes) than the others that you have in your Links page, but it is along the same idea. I can post it online, so I'll describe it, and if it sounds good, I'll send it to whoever's in charge here....I think it's Jay -- please correct me if I'm wrong. The banner starts out with greedo & han face to face in a sort of wide screen w/ a redish border and the caption "originaltrilogy.com" at the bottom. This switches to han firing his blaster from under the table in the same widescreen format, w/ the web address & a caption near han saying "Han shoots first." This switches to an all red background w/ the words "See the movies the way they were meant to be seen." Then the caption appears below it, "Sign the petition and join the campaign to preserve the ultimate film on DVD!" Then it starts all over. Tell me what you think, and if you like it, I'll send a copy to someone who can put it on the site.
