Other movies get a better DVD treatment!
Time

Legend -- Includes both the original and director cuts.

Dawn of the Dead -- 4-cd set includes Theatrical version, Extended version, Italian vers, plus Document of the Dead feature documentary, and bonus features.

Butterfly Effect -- includes both director and theatrical cuts.

Army of Darkness -- has both theatrical and director's cuts.

What were you saying George? Cost millions and millions of dollars to produce both versions?

no arguments
lol

If we ever get the original trilogy released on DVD is going to be by Lucy's kids or grandkids after he's dead, about 40 years later.....when we're all gray and crusty!

Sorry folks, but he's never going to release them!

False Advertising

15 USC 1125(a)

(a) Civil action (1) Any person who, on or in connection with any goods or services, or any container for goods, uses in commerce any word, term, name, symbol, or device, or any combination thereof, or any false designation of origin, false or misleading description of fact, or false or misleading representation of fact, which- (B) in commercial advertising or promotion, misrepresents the nature, characteristics, qualities, or geographic origin of his or her or another person's goods, services, or commercial activities, shall be liable in a civil action by any person who believes that he or she is or is likely to be damaged by such act.

Does that help?
But what are we going to get out of Lucas if we all sue him? I mean, if we take money from him, he'll just get really pissed and probably won't release the originals, and I don't think it's legal to do something like MAKE him release the originals...

He never will release the originals so why would that matter! I've given up hope on ever owning an official version of those on dvd. The only thing we can do now is be a thorn in lucy's hide!

What original versions? There is no such thing!
Time
What's all this talk about Original versions? Dont you people know that they dont exist. If Master Jedi George Lucas says they dont exist then they dont exist. God!!! What are you people smoking! You must be imagining things! Only retards would pretend that something exists when it really doesnt! Just move along already and give up your wild allusions of a so-called "Original Trilogy"!

Van Helsing
Time
I liked Van Helsing, but I was also dissapointed in the lack of fight scenes in the movie. I thought Van Helsing fought with a sword, and I thought he was going to fight all of the monsters; frankenstein's monster, the wolfman, and dracula. Although there's a few altercations between Van Helsing and the other monsters, they're by no means a fight scene.

Sad news for babylon 5 fans
Time
That's disheartening!

I was never a fan of Babylon 5, but I did catch a few episodes.

Hate to go off-topic, but while we're on the subject, I remember watching this one episode of B5 when it was on TNT a few years ago. In one scene, the guy who played the reptilian leader, was missing one contact lense and you could see his human eye while the other one was covered up with a reptilian eye. In the next shot he was back to normal. So it must have been a continuity error, but how could they have forgotten to put his other contact lense in?

Did anyone else catch that episode?

"catastrophe" movies
Time
Its all about Voyeurism. If anything notable can be said of the States its that its the most voyeuristic country in the world. We like to watch people having sex, we like to watch them get tortured, we like to watch them get beheaded, we waste precious hours of our lives watching 5 half-naked morons on a remote island surviving off junkfood rations, we drool over the next chance to watch a big time celebrity defend themselves against charges of rape and molestation in a court room, we spend restless nights downloading porn and snuff on the internet, we tune into CNN everyday to catch up on the latest mass murderings, we enjoy snooping into the affairs of other people and other countries, and we arrest or invade them when we can no longer see inside their closets, and we line up outside theaters to watch the latest death-flick where we get to watch millions of people die and the world crumble to an end and thankgod that its not happening to us.

That is America my friend; anything else......is bullshit.

Only when there's enough mystery to turn it into a conspiracy. And Nick Berg had enough mysteries in his life to write an auto-biography.

1. He was a communications expert
2. He went to Iraq alone
3. Arrested by Iraqi police for suspicious actions
4. Supposedly refused FBI's offer of a free ride home
5. And now they've discovered that alledged-terrorist Massoui had some of his e-mails

What gives? I recon there's more to this Nick Berg than we know.

I suspect that he may have been an agent for Mossad and was trying to infiltrate al-qaeda and/or tried to bug communications facilities so Israel could spy on the new Iraqi government.

But I'm just a dumb conspiracy theorist, what would I know?
