Not sure, because I’m not sure what you’d be able to get legally (because I don’t think anyone here wants to hire an orchestra just for a fanedit. However if you contacted someone who’s already got a recording, you could get one.

Edit: For example, I used this in my own personal fanedit of TPM. I wouldn’t recommend doing this in a released fanedit, though, because just ripping off their recording and releasing it without credit or permission is legally and morally questionable.

Remove subtitle for “I want fifty thousand. No less.” if possible, with differing sources needing to closely match very similar shots

The Blu-Rays don’t have burned-in subtitles if that’s any help.

I’d replace the first paragraph with “It is a time of peril. The warring factions of the Resistance and the First Order have crippled one another, and both sides are itching to deal the final blow.”

“Both sides have attacked each other” is a weird thing to say in a crawl.

If this is still a thing (which it probably isn’t) I doubt the VFX shots are still gonna be redone.

Anything ever come of this?

Man, I’m interested just for the color correction.

Music’s too loud or voices are too quiet. Aside from incomplete shots, that’s the only real problem with it.

The latter two prequels were recorded digitally on 1080p. They will never be on 4k.

Two real things I wasn’t a fan of in this movie: Canto Bight and Maz.

How possible are those to remove, and to what extent?

So, shockingly, I am still working on this. I just have no idea on how to cut things, which is why it’s still not done after four months.

I think I’m gonna put this on the backburner, though, for a few weeks. I’m gonna sit down with my friends and just watch the thing, see if it’s any good, and note what I can cut out. They’re probably not gonna want to do that until before the Last Jedi, so… yeah.

As of now, it’s slightly under four hours long. Maybe this is just desperation, but could this be just kind of some long movie you plan ahead to watch, kind of a marathon movie?

It fades to black between Chapters 2 and 3, you could use that as an intermission.

Saw a prequel rewrite named “The Saga Begins”.

Love it, fits right in with the OT.
