Anything ever come of this?
Anything ever come of this?
Man, I’m interested just for the color correction.
The latter two prequels were recorded digitally on 1080p. They will never be on 4k.
That’s simply not true.
My bad, I’m convinced.
50 seconds of opening credits (ding!)
Password: ending
give me criticism
Music’s too loud or voices are too quiet. Aside from incomplete shots, that’s the only real problem with it.
What method are you using for the special effects?

It can be found posted to an unspecified person’s spleen.
Two real things I wasn’t a fan of in this movie: Canto Bight and Maz.
How possible are those to remove, and to what extent?
Dude it’s looking better than ever!
Not to sound rude, but I would appreciate if your edits would stay in your thread, I want to keep this thread not-cluttered. 😃
Preview of the “stormtroopers”.
I wish that could film real suits, but oh well.
JEDIT: The teaser trailer is almost done
Holy shit
So, shockingly, I am still working on this. I just have no idea on how to cut things, which is why it’s still not done after four months.
I think I’m gonna put this on the backburner, though, for a few weeks. I’m gonna sit down with my friends and just watch the thing, see if it’s any good, and note what I can cut out. They’re probably not gonna want to do that until before the Last Jedi, so… yeah.
As of now, it’s slightly under four hours long. Maybe this is just desperation, but could this be just kind of some long movie you plan ahead to watch, kind of a marathon movie?
It fades to black between Chapters 2 and 3, you could use that as an intermission.
Saw a prequel rewrite named “The Saga Begins”.
Love it, fits right in with the OT.
Very interested. How far along is this?
I wouldn’t be opposed to a more natural burn scar/skin graft look, but the charred black “crispy” look doesn’t fit with it being two decades after the incident to me.
No, it’s pretty accurate.
Thanks for putting “burn victims” in my search history, btw.
This is their first time with this actor, IIRC.
Might be a good idea to ask at a cosplay site. I don’t think very many people here would be able to do this.
You’re not my dad!
Alderaan explosion, some of the Battle of Yavin (but not a lot of it), the Sandcrawler, the Millennium Falcon taking off, Vader’s lightsaber correction, the Millennium Falcon being tracked by that dude, the new Yavin Base shot, and one of the new Cloud City shots are all shots I just prefer.
It’s really a question of whether I should completely faithfully stick to the intent of the fanedit or if I should fix some nitpicks I have with the OT.
I guess I could have two versions, a purist version and a nitpicky version.
Also, how long is too long? At what point is it short enough to release?
Do you guys think I should mix in Special Edition footage, or keep it purist?
Yeah, dude I’m pretty stoked, looks awesome.
I have an idea for revenge of the sith and attack of the clones I was going to do it for my edit. You can go right away you should add darth mual into attack of the clones and revenge of the sith use after effects and take out count dooku and then replace with darth mual use a green screen and add him in I thought it was good idea to give Obi-Wan and arc during the prequels.
I thought I would post this idea here because adywan is not doing the prequels
Look, we all that Maul should have been kept as the villain of the whole trilogy, but it’s to late now. What you’re asking for is just not even remotely feasible.
I feel like this is kinda the point of the thread.
Actually adywans 1997 reconstruction was 1080p I think though I don’t think it was 100% accurate don’t remember him adding Luke’s scream back in or fixed any other tiny differences that may have been there just put the old emperor back in but was there anything else?
Checking my copy of it, the scream is in there.
Hymen Gotantouag
There are so many questions I have about this name.
Yeah, that’s fine. What do you mean about reducing Ludendorff?
I think the idea has promise, but would be very tricky to implement.
I’d keep part of Obi-wan’s ghost scene, so that it’s established that Luke has a twin sister. He simply doesn’t think that Leia fits the bill.
Here’s a potential ending:
yaddah yaddah yaddah
This would work really well as a post-credit scene.
Unfortunately, I don’t know if there’s a way for TFA to work without the knowledge that Leia is his sister, since Kylo’s entire being is built upon the assumption that Vader is his grandfather.
Maybe Luke is so close to Han and Leia that he calls them his brother and sister, so their kid is in a way Vader’s grandson?
I call my mom’s best friend my aunt, and her mom my grandmother.
Not sure how you could implement it, though.
