Why do I read this fucking thread

In the vain hope that this thread will eventually provide pre-Season 10 Simpsons-level humour instead of the usual Family Guy tripe?

Finally someone who doesn’t appreciate Family Guy nearly as much as the earlier seasons of The Simpsons! Although I do believe that the more recent seasons of The Simpsons are better again.

Star Wars Episode II - Attack of the Republic

Some more original thoughts and ideas in this edit, I’m downloading it now and I’ll leave a review! I like the idea of introducing Count Dooku earlier and I’m excited to see some special effects as well.

“Attack of the Republic” attempts to give Dooku a proper introduction and subsequently sprinkle him throughout the film. This was achieved through original Special FX and newly recorded dialogue written by me and recorded by voice actor Michael Picher.

Oooooh, I’m definitely intrigued by this too! I love how you leave it so vague!

Smithers' Prequel Fanedits (a Work In Progress)
Time

It’s been a while since an update, I got a new job and I’m also back in school so I have much less time on my hands. Shawn Bu, the director of the Darth Maul: Apprentice fan film has given me permission to use his footage so that is definitely a go!

I will be uploading a very experimental clip soon involving Anakin’s dream sequences during AOTC, hopefully you’ll like it!

The Force Awakens: Official Review Thread - ** SPOILERS **

Often I’ll buy a Blu Ray and then soon after I get it, it pops up on Netflix. When I got the BTTF set, all three films showed up that same week. The discs include the BTTF: The Ride video as a bonus feature though, so it was worth it.

For me, they were on Netflix but I never got around to watching part 3 before they took it off again so I had to go out and buy the blu ray set 😦

Netflix Canada’s selection of horror movies sucks.

True but check out Oculus and The Babadook 😃

Well they hired Kevin Conroy (I think??) and Mark Hamill plus they screened it in select theatres so it must’ve had a high(er) budget. The art in the comic is already masterful so it would be hard not to disappoint fans with the generic animation that they did use. I’d love to see a motion comic version like Watchmen.

The Jungle Book (2016) 8/10

Still really liked it the second time around, it’s like Disney’s Avatar but with a way better script.

A Beautiful Mind 8.5/10

Picks up in the second act and the twist halfway through is great. Not historically valuable but a fine piece of entertainment.

The Conjuring 7.5/10

Sorcerer (1977) 4.5/10

Pretty disappointed by this one. Most of the characters were flat, too many scenes were way too long, the editing is nonsensical, and I laughed out loud at many of the “exciting” moments. The only thing the film did well was build great suspense in many scenes.

While I have no desire to watch Eraserhead ever again, Stanley Kubrick is said to have screened it for the cast and crew of The Shining so they understood the sort of mood he wanted to establish for his film.

I like Dune, and The Elephant Man is a great movie, although very sad in the end.

Ah yes I forgot about those two, when people bring up Lynch I always think of Twin Peaks and his other strange works.
