If I, for some reason, decided to do edits of the OT and beyond and continue adopting EU titles for them, I might go with these...

(Episode I: Cloak Of Deception

Episode II: The Approaching Storm

Episode III: Labyrinth Of Evil)

Episode IV: Rebel Dawn

Episode V: Shadows Of The Empire

Episode VI: Heir To The Jedi

Episode VII: The Force Unleashed

I'll start checking out some EU titles actually, they seem to fit nicely

When did you realize the Prequels sucked?
Time

A while back I watched the entire saga with my youngest sister once the blu rays had first come out, she was about ten at the time, and she HATED the dialogue of AOTC. She made hilarious remarks about how most of the lines made absolutely no sense and how Anakin was such a whiny baby. She also made fun of the green screen effects in some truly awful looking sequences by saying "oh yeah, no CGI here!"

During the speeder chase scene, Anakin jumps out of a speeder while Obi Wan was in mid-sentence, and Obi Wan says "I hate it when he does that!" and my sister just says "HE'S DONE THAT BEFORE?!"

This, my friends is very strong proof that the prequels suck big time, if a ten year old girl can't enjoy it, I'm not sure who can

Phantom Menace REIMAGINED!

One thing I would also like to be changed is Queen Amidala's voice. Lucas decided to lower her voice in post-production. We can actually hear Portman's original voice in the trailers. It's okay if she has a lower voice when she's wearing the makeup but for some reason Lucas also edited some scenes where she doesn't have the makeup but is still the queen. That just doesn't make any sense. Why would she want to change her voice if she doesn't even wear the makeup? I can remember one line that sounds incredibly dumb in the final movie: "Get to your ships!" Luckily they used that line in the trailer before Lucas decided to change her voice and there it sounds so much better.

Could you possibly use the voice from the trailer for that line and possibly alter all the other scenes where she's speaking as a queen without the makeup?

I didn't know about that! Sounds odd...

Question about the 1997 special edition of ESB

Seriously since it was a guy in a suit, has anyone else noticed that a lot of the stuff in the prequels that still looks good was miniatures or other models? Even if just as much blue screen was used, I think a lot of effects would have looked so much better had they been photographing something real instead of CGI.

True, I recently read a behind the scene star wars book and it shows how naboo was almost all miniatures, and they look pretty good. Sadly, everything else looks awful.

^ Nice one, so maybe one or more actors can be changed ;-)

interesting, that once DiCaprio was considered to play Anakin.

Damn, I'm glad he didn't though, nobody could deliver those lines in a convincing way, and poor Leo's career probably wouldn't have taken off as much as it has. It seems Natalie Portman was the only young actor/actress to do some good movies after the prequels:

Finished the star wars movie adaption in that omnibus, now into uncharted territory not knowing what to expect next.

Bearded pirates in hot pants, green meat-eating rabbits, crazy old men who think they're Jedi Knights, and all assorted bits of insane awesomeness are waiting in store for you.

Dayum I need to buy these omnibus original comic sets, I never heard anything that crazy about them before...

What we like about the Prequels

There is one thing I like about it - John Williams' music. He brought the same class and brilliance to these films that he always does, and Lucas, who couldn't be bothered to write more than one draft for any one of these turds, frankly, did not deserve it.

This I can not agree with more, John Williams' score is truly amazing in every movie he works on and these are no exception. Even if the music wasn't edited or added into the films in a good way, the music still kicks ass and gets me pumped.

At the end of Vader #4 you see the next cover which features... *gasp* a yellow lightsaber?! For some reason I am not fond of the idea that there are tons of lightsaber colours, it's already bad enough that we have a purple one and a black one in the canon for that matter. What do you guys think of this?

Ahsoka has a yellow lightsaber and her cartoon is canon already.

Huh, I haven't watched the clone wars since I saw that horrid movie in theatres... I think I need to give the show another chance based on how good rebels is.
