Ranking the Star Wars Soundtracks
Time
  1. A New Hope (10/10)
  2. The Empire Strikes Back (9.5/10)
  3. Revenge of the Sith (9/10)
  4. The Phantom Menace (9/10)
  5. The Force Awakens (8.5/10)
  6. Return of the Jedi (8.5/10)
  7. Attack of the Clones (8/10)

The Phantom Menace’s soundtrack IMO is pretty overrated other than duel of the fates, The Force Awakens’ score is just under that simply because Rey’s theme is so brilliant. Return of the Jedi and Attack of the Clones both have pretty forgettable new songs and mostly reuse older ones. Attack of the Clones IMO is by far the worst because half of it is just slightly different versions of the romance theme and the rest is mostly forgettable other than the Tusken Raiders one.

are you guys for real?

A question I have asked myself about you.

In general yes I’m being serious. All 3 images dinosaurs seem more tangible to me. But to be fair anything looks better than this.

I can make better special effects with my fecal matter.

I love the non-textured protocol droids standing near c3po, it’s like they gave up and just left the models alone.

What Didn't You Like About ROTS?

As a 9 year old (when I first saw ROTS) who loved the film as much as any other (in my mind it was a masterpiece on par with the OT [I never thought TPM or AOTC were])

Lol, it was pretty much the same for me until I found my self just skipping around to the lightsaber fights and still finding myself unsatisfied when I was about twelve, but then again, as a child I really liked “Sharkboy and Lavagirl”…

Filmmaker and New Yorker film critic Richard Brody's thoughts on the prequels.
Time

I’m pretty sure he is a teenager, Frink.
-first off, he think ROTS is the best star wars movie… that puts him immediately in the 11-13 range
-second, he says stupid shit like “that’s p deep” which is basically the modern version of “THIS IS SO WIZARD ANNIE”
-third, he just (tried to) sent a photo from 4chan…
-fourth, his account name is swagmasta…

He thinks he’s a genius, but really he searches google looking for articles written by random people in order to back up his very un-grounded opinion. “Swagmasta” I speak directly to you now, you created an account on a website called OriginalTrilogy.com and started trying to argue that the lazy pieces of illogical shit that are the prequels are good, I can’t tell if you’re a fool dedicated to his opinion or a troll trying to get a reaction, but the only reaction you’re getting is laughter and not in your favor, so please, kindly act less like someone who spends the day arguing with his mother and playing minecraft over doing their homework, I beg you.

Or you can wait until he releases the final v2.0 which should be in the next couple weeks.

Or just get the 2.0 workprint mkv

Well, one would want the version that Dethalo fixed, also using Catbus’s subtitles to replace the missing jabba subs. But yes, it would work. Though Harmy put enough work into it since then, (color correction, cleanup, rotoscoping, and stabilization of the 35mm stuff, etc) that he’s actually calling the next version 2.5. He just posted, saying it may be out this or next week.

Awesome! Can’t wait to burn it!

The heavy prequels are super entertaining, it embraces the terrible and cheesy lines perfectly
