Yes the NHL doesn't have the luxury of other sports and the current system is not working. I was just explaining the fallbacks of the NFL.. not the NHL. Some of you guys are giving the owners in the NHL too much credit. Although I agree that there needs to be a compromise, let's face it, the owners are just as much to blame as the players... if not more, and now they want to bail themselves out.

the thing is that the way things are going it really is the players, players liek lapoint wold hold out till they get salaries like that. there are only 2 or three owners to blame and those are the rangers, the wings, and the leafs. the thing is that the owners have no choice if a star player holds out then they have there hands tied. owners need players like that to get money, and get good teams. you are right though the owners are a lil at fault.

yeah but the NFL is big in the US so they get shit loads of money, the NHL is different because we dont have that big market. NHL players should be making the least out of the 4 major sports simply because the NHL draws in the least amount of money. you right thou the rights of the players in the NFL are abused but the overall system that is there is very good. with a few kinks it cold work in the NHL.

that drastically less graphic, and it wouldnt be r rated at all, you could make it in pg for sure. look at shows like DBZ ppl dieing all the time, and shows like x men it is possible.

if it wasnt offical b4 it has now been written in stone. the Undisputed champion of hockey nations is CANADA. despite having a population of 30 million Canada has now won the last 6 major internation tornements. this just shows that we are the kings of hockey.

yeah it had that aspect, i found that i made me hate nom anor thou
b4 that book i really liked his charater but after it man i hated him
the really point of that book was the level the ground for the unifying force so that is why you feel the way you do, it set the stage for the last book.
