Ady, how do you plan to shoot smooth shots of the Falcon etc... you using some sort of motion control to help with those shots ?
I'd have thought that the Fine Molds Falcon was way too small to get any real good shots of, there are people out there building Studio Scale Replicas of the Star Wars vehicles that are far more accurate than the Fine Molds model in terms of the surface detail etc... Is it not worth asking on Replica Prop forums for a UK based modeller who might already have a bigger version built that you could use, I know there's the transport depending on how far away etc... but it might be worth a try !

Check this out, if Adywan ever needed some new shots of Yoda for TESB:R he should ask this guy for use of his Yoda puppet, superb work !! Mind you,this guy is probably in the US and Ady's here in the UK, oh well !!
Boards such as the the Replica Prop Forum http://www.therpf.com/ and the Replica Prop Board http://theukpropparty.yuku.com/ have guys making Studio Quality Miniatures of Star Wars models and Costumes etc... that would be perfect for some of the shots, there are even Stop Motion Replicas of the Taun Taun and the AT-ST getting built.

The AT-AT pilots have a red stripe down the back of their helmets towards the end of the Walker Battle.
I hope the first change is the title, from The Empire Strikes Back to The Empire kicks major butt :)
In my opinion if people want green lasers and different coloured ships then go off and do your own versions but leave Adywan alone to do what he wants with his.

The first thing I really remember of Star Wars was when I was 10 in 1977, there was a report on the News at 5.45 on ITV here in the UK, it was reporting about the release and success of the film in America, they showed the clip of the Tie-Fighters attacking the Millennium Falcon as it escaped from the Death Star. I remember watching it thinking boy that looks amazing, I didn't have a clue who the characters were, and when I seen C3-PO walking down the Falcon's corridor just before the ship get hit I didn't know if he was a good guy or a bad guy, then there was the big furry monkey thing, I didn't know what Chewbacca was mean't to be,never seen anything like it before. Now Star Wars didn't get released here in the UK until late December 1977 so it was around Jan or Feb 1978 before I finally convinced my dad to take me to the cinema to see it, but in the meantime I'd collected the comic books and read the novel and saved loads of magazine articles all about the wonderful characters and spaceships in the film, those are feelings that will never go away, the excitement of seeing Star Wars for the first time in the cinema.
I don't know if this has been talked about before, it's an awfully big thread to look through, but will there be any attempt to add the markings to the full size Snowspeeders so they're more like the miniatures with the red areas on the rear and the front ?!
I loved Star Wars:Revisited and can't wait for this one !!
