I bought it in Sept. and and have burned a litttle over 100 movies. But it burns CDs and VCDs just fine.

I slowed my burnin, used the etxra smooth option, ran a deep anylasis, couldn't find the verify option but still have the same problem. I used to different brands of DVD+ and both froze up. I'm stumped.

Verify? Are you talking about Analysis or am I missing something when I use shrink? Is DVD Encrypter free? I'm not sure how to slow down the burn on DVD shrink, somethin I'll check into. This has only been problem lately. Will buying 4x DVDr take care of the speed problem?

I've always bought whatever DVD were on sale so I recently bought a 50 pack of FujiFilm and when I burn anything almost half the time the movie freezes up and won't play. At first I thought it was because I was surfin the net while burnin, so the next time I made sure I didn't run any programs while using DVD Shrink but the same prob. So is it the DVDs themselves? A bad batch or is this a bad brand to buy? I occasssionally the 'freezing up' problem never this many in a row. I used a cheaper brand and had no problems at all. I've bought H&P in the past and had probably a 99% success ratio but w/ this batch of FujiFilm nothin but problems. Can anyone recommend other brands of DVD+?

Here's my problems w/ Jedi, Lando is after Han's rescue is wasted as a character, sorry, but no way he'd get promoted to general that fast. Boba Fett's death, again, no way would one of the galaxy's baddest MF'ers out there go to his death screaming like a punk much less the whole SE edition of being some kind of a ladies man. Less is more w/ characters like this. Realistically he shouldn't even be there he collected his bounty and should be out lookin for the next one. But w/ SW: SE he's really nothin but another flunkey for Jabba. Leia as Luke's sister is a little too much but its not the end of the world for me. But the thing that keeps Jedi from being better than ESB or SW is the f'n EWOKS! Why not just use Wookies? I really wish somebody edit the ewoks out of Jedi as much as possible along w/ Fett's scream, remove that f'n stoopid song from the SE and somehow have Fett's hand shoot out of the Sarlacc at the end of the Tatooine sequence.

I re-edited American Idiot with stuff from President Bush, American Edit, American Idiot B sides,The Network ( Green day's new wave band) and some of Green Days early stuff ( Minority ,which I shortened, and Booze Sex and Drugs). I have several short tracks that I want to make into one track, which I want to name the track Red Neck Agenda, also I would like to be able to put Sweet Home Alabama under Bush's speech from 9/11 but I don't believe that I can do this w/ Nero. Any sugestions would be helpful. I'm about 99% there when done I'd like to share but when American Edit came out Time Warner threatened lawsuits so I'm not sure if I'll risk an upload might PIF tho.

Bake bread for living, we are actually suppling some of the bread to Ford Field for the SuperBowl. I spent the past ten years cooking in restaurants and country clubs. I went to truck driving school last year and got a CDL but nothing came of it except a bad career move. If I could do anything for a living I'd write.

I downloaded WinAvi to convert files into VOB and now I can't use it. It keeps popping up Protection Error 86. It worked fine a day ago but now I get this. I sent then a e mail but it may take up to 3 days for a reply. Any one that could help me it would be greatly appreciated.

Wikipedia is the devil's work. There's been multiple threats of lawsuits to remove incorrect info on that site. I believe the the Phantom Editor has his entry as well.

Thank you ADM for the edits on 4,5,&6. I got soured on Sw w/ the prequels and stopped watching anything to do with SW for a long time. I've never seen 4,5,&6 on DVD because of the continued changes. I originally liked the SE but after a while they started to grate on me, it was like GL was dumbing it down or something. When I became aware of some of the dialogue change during the Dagabah scene I gave up. Changing Fett's voice, changing the ghost of Anakin and other changes just confirmed to me that the SW that I loved as a child was gone. I threw away my framed movie posters and other toys in disgust. It wasn't until a I saw Magnolia's edit( Balance) that I felt any real excitement about SW. ADM edits of 4 and 5 ( haven't gotten to 6) are f'n magnificent. Thank You. You took out everything I hated and saved the best parts of the SE.

You're a good man, Dave. I gotta go to work now, lookin forward to comin home tommorrow and seeng where were at with this. Its still not too late to donate. For those that can't use paypal has any one considered Western Union to wire the money to YIYF? Might be another way to go, instead of snail mail, so Rik's family can get the money by Christmas. Most stores can wire money and it only costs a dollar I think. Somethin to think about.

Thanks for the email Jay. I had no idea. I've traded e mail w/ Rik a few times and gotten movies. He is the most generous guy and I hope what we gather helps. I know Rik was either out of work or working part time plus medical bills. So every little bit will help. I'm pretty new and now I'm glad I joined.

Has anyone ever considered a re edit, with 4 movies and what 7 seasons of a tv show there’s got to be a better way to the story. The last movie EndGame ( I think?) didn’t even make sense. I believe both Highlanders were in the pilot of the show plus both being in EndGame there’s got to be a way to blend these two together better without forsaking the the first movie. Maybe in the same way In Thy Image was done taking a tv show approach. I don’t know just thought I’d throw it out there.
