team negative1 - star wars 1977 - 35mm theatrical version (Released)

The v1.5 version was uploaded on the spleen but it was later removed by the site’s administrator. That version would have only 3 audio tracks–1 English stereo track, 1 English mono track, and 1 Spanish stero track. Perhaps you might be confusing the audio tracks with the subtitles that include English, Spanish, French, German, Italian & Finnish.

Anyway, an updated version, v1.6, is now available. The audio tracks here are the same as the ones from v1.5. If you wish to listen to the German audio track with this version, you would have to mux the German audio mix from Harmy’s Star Wars Despecialized version to the v1.6.

Thank you. I’m beginning to believe I did mistake the german audio track from the Grindhouse version for ESB… I’ll do as you suggested.

Can anyone help to tell me if I just fantasized that there was a german audio track for v1.5 available? I thought I muxed a MKV with this audio track some time ago, but I can’t find the MKV… My memory tells me I found it on myspleen back then, but I can’t find it anymore (well, “if” I did found it there…).

Revenge of the Sith - Remastered Celebration III 2005 "Spectacular" Footage

Funny how back in 05 they seemed to think “preview” meant “abridged version of the whole film”

Hehe, yeah… though they left major spoilers out, you can say they showed the entire film.

Thanks, this is very cool, I have never seen this preview. It could even be used as a “flash-back” inserted between TESB and ROTJ (mini-machete order). Strange music for SW, where does it come from ? (“the mummy returns” ? “Van Helsing” ?)

edit: I’d like to keep a full quality copy of it but it does not seem possible to do so. Is there a lock on the file ?

You’re right, it is music from Van Helsing, Virus, Courage Under Fire, etc.
Strangely I’ve activated the possibility that everyone can download this video. Don’t know why you can’t. Try this site: savevideo.me Enter the video link and you should be able to download it. Works for me.

If anyone wants to see the real bootleg footage from back then, I uploaded it here: bit.ly/28ZsBEj

Revenge of the Sith - Remastered Celebration III 2005 "Spectacular" Footage

I want to share something I did (a little editing), and I hope this is the right category here.

Maybe some of you will remember that, especially when you were around at millenniumfalconDOTcom or the JC forums back at the days in 2005. On 23rd of April 2005, around a month before the release of the then new and “last” movie of the Star Wars saga, Revenge of the Sith, fans at the Star Wars Celebration III in Indanapolis saw an exclusive preview. It had an overwhelming impact: the audience was already excited about the final act of Anakin Skywalker’s story, and how he finally became the evil and ruthless Darth Vader. What made the Celebration preview so special was the dark tone it delivered, especially through the use of soundtracks from different sources. It didn’t take long and a bootleg with bad quality floated around the internet. I always loved this video (called “Spectacular”), which still gives me goosebumps everytime I watch it. But that couldn’t satisfy me enough. So I rebuilt the preview as good as I could.

StarWarsLegacy.com - The Official Thread

I know that we are abusing this thread here with the “What will they show on the Celebration in London” (and I should have post it in another thread maybe, but my first thought was that this could relate to Mike’s ongoing meetings with Disney/Lucasfilm), but I sent the Celebration team a message on Facebook, regarding what version we’re going to see (Blu-ray, 2004 DVD, SE or the “Original Edition”. They’ve read my message over a day ago but didn’t reply.
You can call me a dreamer, but I’m collecting all possible hints. Even the trivial ones, hehe… Maybe they are not allowed to talk about the version, since it’s going to be an on location surprise…

Despecialized Editions by Harmy : Index of 'How-To's & Help' Threads | Index of 'General Despecialized Threads' | ‘Where are they? And how do I get them?’ mega-merge thread...

Though I’m not sure if your question is allowed here: I had the same problem, but I invested a little time, read a lot of threads, invested a little under a 100 bucks in some equipment and got the movies by myself on blu-ray. Just remember that your friend should at least own the official blu-rays, or the movies in another kind of official format. Everything else would be a kind of piracy.
