I have a DUAL LAYER version now with the making of on it, and yes one day it will make it up

NEW –
Superman III: The Salkind Extended Television Version (Upgraded Version!)
Angrysvn DVD authoring of a OldBiff85 VHS transfer of S3 & a Ash595 Beta Transfer of Making S3

Superman III was released in summer 1983 with a running time of 123 minutes (117 minutes PAL UK). The extended cut was first shown on ABC in 1985 with an extra 20 minutes of added footage; the running time was 143 minutes. Again this extended edition was produced by Alexander Salkind’s company.

Upgraded DVD with a newer VHS transfer that was on a dual-layer disc with much higher bitrate (5.5gigs vs. the old 3.4gig version), this VHS transfer also offers brighter colors and better saturation (flesh tones look almost real!) there is some artifacting during heavy motion but overall I feel it's much nicer – This transfer has the complete end titles and there are NO station ID’s.

Also added to this new edition is the very rare “The Making of Superman III” – transferred from a PAL Beta tape, I have converted the file to NTSC for compatibility; another addition is “Superman: The Mechanical Monsters” by the Fleischer Bros. from 1941 (I felt it followed the theme)

GREAT thread Sky!

I really like that you are sharing the work as it progresses! The full intro really plays well with the added clips, and your 3D titles are so cool, it reallly is neat that you've taken the time to redo the whole intro and add effects to it!!!

I also ment to ask if you will be releasing both NTSC & PAL versions and DVD5 & DVD9?

and as I’ve stated once you finish thi up I would proudly & happily send copies to my seeder team and forward copies for a newsgroup release!
