The Things We Hate And Love Thread .
Time
This is a fair warning to all, please do not read any further as the views, opinions and ideas presented in the following text are solely mine and do not necessarily represent those of any other living entity in the known or unknown universe[s].

I hate that I slept late yesterday...

I hate that an approval rating of 33% means nothing to Congress (motion of non-confidence!)

I hate that illegal immigrants get food stamps and medicaid but yet I'm denied (WTF !?!?)

I hate mayonnaise.

I hate that the middle class has erroded, by design; leaving only the upper & lower classes (sounds a little too third world to me).

I hate cheap 2.4 ghz cordless phones...

I hate plain tofu.

I hate that illegal immigrant internment camps MAY become a new trend...

I REALLY hated the last episode of BSG Season 2!

I hate the uncontested oppression of American citizens via the so called patriot act...

Oh yeah, and I hate the fact that no one reads WARNING or HAZARD LABELS, then after NOT reading them they complain, frelling losers!

Sorry, guys I had alot of hate this morning (I had a bit more then the daily recommended dosage!)

Star Wars DVD Covers
Time
To DarthV:
This is the perfect place for the covers so keep them coming!!!

To Everybody:
I think it’s in bad form to come down so hard on a CUSTOM cover just because it doesn't fit into any preconceived ideas of what Star Wars was, is and never will be. That and DarthV never said it was for the OT, I read it as “vintage-style” but I never took that to mean “CLASSIC” OT.

Best pop/soda.
Time
I really dig on home-brewed Cola/Soda/Root Beer but since I've not been able to master that art (I have also home brewed beer, sadly only from extracts) BUT I gotta pick Coca-Cola as MY personal best pop!

1. Classic Coke served in a glass bottle, chilled to 37 degrees.
2. Classic Coke from a properly adjusted fountain tap on ice.
3. Classic Coke in a can, chilled to 37 degrees.
4. Classic Coke from a 2 litter bottle over ice (the worse tasting of all)
5. Classic Coke brewed and bottled in Mexico AS cold as you can get it (it's WAY TOO sweet so it's not my fav)

If I'm outta my Coca-Cola then it's fruit juice or ICE cold tap water (bottled water is for suckaz)

Net Neutrality or SAVE THE INTERNET!!
Time
THIS MAY BE OLD NEWS BUT.....

Do you buy books online, use Google, eBay, Napster or iTunes to download to an iPod or just cruise the internet? Everything we do online will be hurt if Congress passes a radical law next week that gives giant corporations more control over what we do and see on the Internet.

Internet providers like AT&T are lobbying Congress hard to gut Network Neutrality-the Internet's First Amendment and the key to Internet freedom. Net Neutrality prevents AT&T from choosing which websites open most easily for you based on which site pays AT&T more. BarnesandNoble.com doesn't have to outbid Amazon for the right to work properly on your computer. Our parts sources don't have to out bid others to have their sites work properly on your computer. Even our little forum here will be negatively affected.

If Net Neutrality is gutted, almost every popular site-from Google to eBay to iTunes-must either pay “protection money” (read as extortion) to Internet companies like AT&T or risk having their websites process slowly. That why these high-tech pioneers and others are opposing Congress' effort to gut Internet freedom.

BUT, you can do your part today...

Can you sign this petition telling your member of Congress to preserve Internet freedom?

Click here to sign: MoveOn.org: SAVE THE INTERNET!! or here at SaveTheInternet.com

I, along with 250,000 others have signed this petition so far. This petition will be delivered to Congress before the House of Representatives votes next week. When you sign, you'll be kept informed of the next steps we can take to keep the heat on Congress.

Snopes.com, which monitors various causes that circulate on the Internet, explained:

Simply put, network neutrality means that no web site's traffic has precedence over any other's...Whether a user searches for Porsche parts using Google, reads an article on snopes.com, or looks at a friend's MySpace profile, all of that data is treated equally and delivered from the originating web site to the user's web browser with the same priority. In recent months, however, some of the telephone and cable companies that control the telecommunications networks over which Internet data flows have floated the idea of creating the electronic equivalent of a paid carpool lane. IF companies like AT&T have their way, Web sites ranging from Pelican, PCA, Google to eBay to iTunes either pay protection money to get into the "fast lane" or risk opening slowly on your computer.

We can't let the Internet-this incredible medium which has been such a revolutionary force for FAN EDITS, PRESERVATIONS, democratic participation, economic innovation, and free speech - become captive to large corporations.

Politicians don't think we are paying attention to this issue and sadly I feel that alot of us ARE NOT! BUT together, we can show them that WE DO CARE about preserving the free and open Internet.

Please sign the petition letting your member of Congress know you support preserving Internet freedom!!!!!

PLEASE CUT-AN-PASTE this whole topic into your emails and send it off to all your family and friends!!

For now the plan is...

Downloads and all of the contributors will be on a private PIF chain for the DL source discs after that they will spread outwards but I will also be willing to burn full sets for those that do not have bandwidth.

Did you ever make an edit of III? I loved the first two and would love a complete set, but finding whether or not there is a third edit (let alone how to get it) is difficult.

Yes, there SHOULD be an edit of Episode III on the way I know that MAGFAN has been VERY busy with other projects for school and work and they are a bit more of a priority at this time. BUT we should get them one day!

BLADE RUNNER: The Unauthorized OFF-WORLD Box Set (Released)
Time
I've gotten a new hard drive and I now have all the BR stuff on my HD, I've also sent out the BR 2005/HDTV DC to MBJ so he should have it by the end of this new week, I gotta get a hold of DJ and see about getting the DL version of his latest Criterion transfer and once this is all figured out and I get the 2005/HDTV DC back from MBJ, I'll finish up the Isolated Score for the disc. SO the set is looking like it will be either a 6 disc DL set or a 8 disc mix of DL & SL.

ENJOY the new week gang!!!!!!!!!
