As I wrote, main characters don't count in that regard. Relatively minor characters, like Boba Fett, do. It isn't as if he is part of the group of heroes, or even the Rebels. He isn't even part of the Empire. He's a freelance bounty hunter who should have no further part in the story. Even having him in the PT was a bit too much.

This needs work on audio levels (including a few missing "oops" due to some weird timeline issue). It also needs visual transitions or fades added. But as a first pass it has the concept in place. Thoughts?

You should close the sequence with the freshly helmeted Darth Vader saying "Oops."
Other than that, my only thoughts are that the PT's visuals aren't as bad as I remember them being.

I'm afraid I have no idea what this is implying, but I'm gonna have to say no. =D
No, was making a lame joke about you for using "every fabric of my being" rather than "every fibre...."
For all I know, the former is an actual thing, but I've never encountered anyone even partially made out of fabric before.
I really, really hope Boba Fett doesn't show up again. Frankly, I'm sick of that character. All his coolness has been squeezed out of him by the PT and the EU. Not to mention that it would be more pointless universe shrinkage. We shouldn't see the same set of characters every single movie, beyond the main characters, of course...of which Boba Fett was not one.
After the sequel trilogy, I would like to see more spin-off movies. There's nearly infinite potential there, and as long as they vary them enough, and don't set them all in the same time period, they could be a lot of fun. I don't want them to be too connected with the main story, however. They need to tell their own stories. I don't want to see origin stories either. Someone who's not much of a Star Wars fan should be able to go see them and be able to relate to the characters, and understand the movie.

To the categories of "yes", "no", and "maybe" (synonyms added for variety's sake), I add "LOL no", and extended commentary.*

Perhaps.
When others are getting rattled, do you remain fairly composed?
That depends.

Yes...
When asked to make a decision, would you be swayed by your like or dislike of the personality involved?
It depends what sort of decision. I guess that's a maybe.

Two or fewer!!!
No.

Nope.

Yea.

It depends what people. And what actions.
Do you consider more money should be spent on social security?
Did the author of this test consider more time should be spent writing meaningful sentences?
No (to both questions).

LOL no.
Do you speak slowly?
I...often...do...that,...yes....
Are you usually concerned about the need to protect your health?
Maybe.
Does an unexpected action cause your muscles to twitch?
It depends on whether or not I'm the one who made the unexpected action. I say maybe.
Are you normally considerate in your demands on your employees, relatives, or pupils?
Well, sometimes I try to read in the dark, and my poor pupils just can't open wide enough....
This is the type of question best left for others to answer, but I'd say maybe.

Yes.

Often. I can't decide if that's a yes or a maybe. I guess that probably means it's the latter.

Yes, although I didn't take the non-word into account when answering.

Always.

Only the negative ones...
Do you refrain from complaining when the other person is late for an appointment?
Yes.

Do you often feel that people are looking at you or talking about you behind your back?
Not often, but sometimes, yes.
Are you 'always getting into trouble'?

Have you any particular hate or fear?
I hate sand.

Those Vanity Fair pictures got me more excited than the trailer did. :) I'm feeling gradually more positive about this thing, though I'm trying to suppress my expectations just a little, so that I don't kill the possibility of me being blown away.
I've got mixed feelings about this as well. I would love to see them go the route of the original Boba Fett being killed and replaced by a better, badder Boba, who takes the original's name for himself. I think that would add more depth to the OT character if done properly, and allow us to be more forgiving of the PT Boba. Unfortunately, I doubt this will happen, especially since the SE would be contradicted.

At heart, hard-core OTers are no different than all the fans who discuss the trivialities of the EU and try to reconcile the various discontinuities, they just talk about different things. ;)
So...they're all annoying?
;-)
Annoying doesn't even begin to cover it. ;)
What I meant though is that they spend to much time worrying about things that are just fiction....
But I was like that once or twice, so I can't complain too much. And I still read all the incredibly trivial problems with the movies that the OTers write about....

I just bumped the invisible thread. We need more like it in Off Topic.
Thought I'd share what I posted over in the invisible thread here:

One line which is worthy of hacking is VADER: "Have you found any droids?"
You could run this line throughout the R:OT and change the last word with whatever James Earl words you can find.
eg. "Have you found any shoes?"
"Have you found any American Dollars?" etc
"Have you found any angels" should be used multiple times, implying that he's been on a continual search for them since his youth (which is why he would ask people if they were one--just in case).

Might be a little too subtle. But repetitive dialogue always has potential.
A better way to underline the redundancy of the Jabba scene could be to replace Jabba's subtitles* with those of Greedo, and Han's dialogue in the Jabba scene with the dialogue from the Greedo scene, having them repeat the earlier scene word for word.
*He does speak Huttese in that scene, right?
Maybe that's still too subtle, but not any more so than your *DELIBERATE CREATIVE DECISION*'s that you used in the other edits....
