Even respected actors have to pay the bills. Sir Alec probably has a dog or two in his filmography.
If you asked him, he'd probably include Star Wars as one of them ;)
If you asked him, he probably wouldn't answer because he's dead.
No doubt he's been working
And has had no time for lurking.
He works with HTML and PHP,
With MySQL and JavaScript you see,
But since it's not part of his day job,
So on weekends, under his code name Bob,
He works on his computer prograhm
Instead of hanging out on OT.com.
Indeed, just as I should have payed more attention to the sorts of moves it can make.

LOL, I'm not sure what would have kept him away from us on a Sunday evening (unless he's busy programming, but that's no excuse to not make a move ;)).

;)
Oh.
I remember quickly skimming that post without really reading it. :P
Well, I'm glad we got this cleared up this early in the game. I wouldn't have wanted to get my king promoted in the pleasure garden and checkmate my dad, only to find that I couldn't do either. ;)

Then why in the mother of fuck are you reading these series of comics?
Perhaps if the nuEU wasn't already succumbing to poor quality control, I'd be less pissy.
Don't you mean "If the EU wasn't scrapped, I'd be less pissy"?
If you knew Duracell just a bit better, you'd know that wasn't the case at all. He's the one who started the "What do you HATE about the EU" thread, and his head canon is vastly different from the old official canon (and the new).
I think he's just disappointed that the nuEU isn't of superior quality to the old.

Yes indeed, Ric, we started out with you and your old man allied against me. I have a theory that your dad still could have won the game where he was allied against us, and essentially I am testing my theory.
Well, thank you all for telling me in advance... :P

Thanks imperialscum... I appreciate you seeing my intended point rather than the morality point.
I made no moral comment on what you said. I pointed out one is with consent, the other isn't.
That is looking at the moral aspect of it. It is immoral why? Because there is no consent. Regardless of whether or not you gave your position, you're still talking about the moral aspect of it.

the primary function of sex is reproduction, with the secondary of sharing love. Homosexuality is clearly not in line with the primary function. The same could be said about pedophilia or zoophelia.
The same could be said of hetrosexual sex and if you really want to stretch this stupid analogy, pedophilia can result in reproduction. So that makes it okay?
He never said it makes it OK. Now you're talking about morality again. He's not talking about that. He's talking about the fact that homosexuality isn't considered a disorder anymore, simply because it's considered moral now. Yet it has no evident evolutionary advantage, since a homosexual relationship is necessarily sterile.
darth_ender said:
There are those who experience such attraction who even argue that they simply are another sexual orientation and shouldn't be persecuted for such attraction.
Those people are wrong as you know very well because consent cannot be given.
He's talking about an attraction here, not sex. For some reason, people who are emotionally caught up in the homosexuality issue can't seem to differentiate between the two.

I'm sure you'll argue that paragraph doesn't say "Being gay is like being a pedophile" but yeah it does. Children and animals can't give consent, adults can. You aren't an idiot, so I know you understand this distinction. So why make a post like that?
Again for the last time, I'm sure you are intelligent enough to know what consent means, so why ignore it to make an offensive post the way you did.
Yes, that's what he said, but you're completely missing the reason he said it. Both aren't naturally productive (evolutionary speaking), and in that way, they could both be considered disorders of a sort.
And the age at which "consent" can be given varies with the individual (with their maturity and intelligence). Why can't a fifteen year-old legally consent to sex with a fifty year old? It used to be socially acceptable, but isn't now. Who decides what is and isn't consent?
Well, we can give the Meticulous Mashers a go, but it might get kind of annoying if my computer continues crashing, since I'd have to load up two different games every day. I'm willing to try it though (going with the suggestion I made above that we both play with the same armies the first time round).

It is Danfun I quote:
Did anyone take note
Of the hidden message
In the poem I wrote?
Fixed your rhymeless garbage
In the above short verbage.
Corrected your mistake,
Frink's onetime namesake
But the rhyme scheme's AB,
And if you were to count,
You'd soon find the amount
Of syllables to be
Not seven, not eight, no,
Just six in every row.
I haven't forgotten a rule, have I? I don't recall aligning with anyone....
Possessed said*:
"I do not jest,
I am of accord."
So quoth Possessed,
But in fewer words.
*Tried to rhyme this I ded, but without success, I'm afred.

Here is what my board looks like
I see you've tried to promote your king right off the bat, you cheater.
Have you tried inserting a cell and then not deleting it? :P
Is your board still saved in the middle of our last game? His bishop should be on 9ab/ac.
I did something else (can't remember exactly what) and my computer hasn't crashed in a couple days. If it crashes again, I'll try what you suggest, but hopefully I won't have to....

But I just can't help myself!
I'm on what must be my eighth or ninth cold since I moved to Québec, and it's the worst so far. I've had to constantly blow my nose, which often bleeds as a result. Today alone I had five or six bloody noses (no, Praetorian, I still only have one nose), half of which were during class.
I'm glad this is the last week of school.
I doubt I will.
Also, my dad says he's willing to try another game. He can't guarantee that he won't be too busy, but we can always have another game going in the chess variants thread if there's a lull.
The PDF files in the link you sent me have the rules along with the game and pieces.
I'm not sure how busy my dad is (he's still in another province), but I can ask him.
I guess I'll have to make another Excel mock-up for that small variant. I'm not printing it off and cutting and folding everything. ;)
I love the way capturing is described in the PDF: "If your animal moves to a space occupied by an opponent, [you invite him to your] farm."
