I was out driving yesterday, and I saw a huge inflatable Santa Claus in someone’s yard. I’m also getting Christmas-related ads on Youtube. They should just bump Christmas back ten days every year…

I loved the first shot, as well as the one at 0:21. The latter looks like it could have been taken straight from the OT. The shot of the TIEs coming towards the screen with the sun behind looked great as well.

I’m also starting to dig Kylo’s saber, though I never really disliked it in the first place.

^That’s another reason I’d like them to just be together the whole time. They’ll steal the show if they have a complicated story of their own.

It would be ridiculous because we’ve spent three movies watching them fall in love. Having them split would be a spit in the face similar to starting Alien3 with Hicks and Newt dead.

Exactly. Not to mention that the movie beginning with a separated couple who then get back together is a bit cliché.

I figured I’d see it both ways. I’m going with 3D for the first viewing, mostly because that was the only version I could reserve seats for, as far as I’m aware.

If it’s the size of everything that’s bugging you, go to “View” in the menu bar. Under “Zoom,” check off “Zoom text only” and then zoom out of the page. I’m not sure if that works outside of Firefox, but it is much easier to read everything that way.

I am almost positive that he did not use Battle of Endor footage, and the extended destruction scene was done as a joke. And since he didn’t make any plot changes, I don’t see any difference between showing the SE and Adywan’s version, except that the latter is better.

That word comes from a corruption of a word meaning “black” (“negro” is what the Spanish and Portuguese call black people…it’s only offensive in English). Its offensiveness comes from its origins, not its meaning. “Nigga” is a further corruption of that word, with most negative connotation removed. It’s only offensive it you make it so.

It only happened because of the fairly frequent outages that were happening. If we didn’t have that problem, I’m sure Jay would have waited a while before making the update (and it probably would have been just an update, with no change of servers).

I went to work, then I did homework, then I helped my dad move a couple 10-foot long fish tanks into the basement, then I did more homework.

I've still got a ways to go before I experience that feeling. ;)

As I said in the other thread, the only problem I had with it is that it felt too dark. I'm hoping there are some more lighthearted moments in the actual movie.
