^THAT.
^THAT.
We get lousy winters though...it's below 0 degrees from November (or late October, usually) to March (or often early April). 20 degrees below is the norm, with the temperature often dropping to 30 below, and sometimes 40 below.
We got our last snowfall Saturday night. It's finally getting warm here as well. Today it went up to 22 degrees or so. We only get a few days of 35+ degrees in the summer, the temperature usually being around 20-30 degrees.

the lightslingshot looks completely stupid.
Tbh the whole image looks stupid to me.
I agree. I have no idea how a "lightslingshot" is even possible (not that lightsabres are either, but they're at least more plausible...).
April 30:
A.D. 311: Emperor Galerius legally recognizes Christianity in the Roman Empire.
A.D. 711: Iberia is conquered by the Moors.
A.D. 1803: The U.S. purchases Louisiana from Napolean.
A.D. 1900: Hawaii becomes part of the U.S.A.

Yeah, there'll be backlash - from people who will still see the movie anyway. At the end of the day, making these movies fit the EU would be catering to a niche audience. The majority of people have not read the books and could care less about them. All they want is a good movie. If LFL decided the movie would be better if they weren't forced to adhere to the EU, then I think they had every reason to say that the EU will be ignored.
Couldn't care less. ;)
There, I got it right this time... :P
The differences are subtle, but I have to say that I like the Clone Wars' animation style better than this.

I hope not. He's my favourite character...

The knights were interesting in the way they could block diagonals. You were able to very effectively trap my bede because of that, and when coordinated with a rook-like piece, it worked very well for you. I think that's my favourite army so far.

April 29:
A.D. 1429: St. Joan of Arc arrives at the siege of Orleans.
A.D. 1661: The Chinese Ming Dynasty occupies Taiwan.
A.D. 1707: Scottish and English Parliaments accept the Act of Union, forming the United Kingdom of Great Britain.
A.D. 1813: Rubber is patented by Jacob Hummel.
How about Remarkable Rookies as white, and Forward FIDEs as black? You go first.

I'm really happy to see Anthony Daniels in there. Star Wars wouldn't be the same without C-3PO...
I thought I'd be mated this turn.
So, what next? Meticulous Mashers vs. the NNs?
Or Nutty Knights vs. Fabulous FIDEs?

I'll PM you.
I don't suppose you'd want to share with me too...? ;)
If I had more than a basic grasp of Latin, I'd be willing to help translate, but I'm not quite there yet. Since you're fluent in Italian, it probably comes more easily to you anyway.
Sorry, I didn't realize you valued the Holiday Special as official continuity. I figured that most people would be glad that that monstrosity isn't canon anymore. I'll show more respect for it in the future, I promise. ;)
