LOL
I need to watch how I word things.
Ugh, I hate beaches. The only ones I like at all don't have sand--just clean, smooth rocks.
I'm not sure, but I guess there are at least three different paint schemes. Interesting.

Yeah i have met real cops and each time it has been horrid.
The last time was when my brother took a friend to the emergency room, she had a history of drug use and had been found on the floor of her bathroom passed out and the cop who came in did his best to try and trap my brother into admitting something that would let the cop arrest him for attempted murder. He even went so far as to threaten to lock up my brother until he confessed. This despite the fact that the girl had been brought in for this sort of thing before and my brother has never so much as gotten a speeding ticket. All the cop cared about wasn't the truth but finding an excuse to beat on someone who had just tried to help another member of the human race.
Cops don't care about helping they care about throwing people in jail and finding an excuse to beat people up that is what they get promotions for not finding the truth, they couldn't care less about the truth of any case so yeah I have interacted with cops and found them to be drunk on their own sense of power and ready to abuse it at the drop of a hat.
I am sorry if this upsets you but based on my interactions with cops I have found them to be no good and I will never trust a cop as long as I live, sorry but that is just the way it is. Maybe you are lucky enough to live in an area with good cops but where I live it seems all the cops are either dirty or just out of control so that is how I view them and I don't trust or respect them.
Yep, I was right. He's from an alternate, dystopian reality.
No problem, but we're back on different pages. :) Is G-2c your move? If so, L-3a.
I really like that black X-Wing, but not so much the idea that it's flown by a Sith.
DrCrow, out of curiosity, have you ever met a real live policeman?
I'm beginning to suspect that DrCrow actually lives in an alternate, dystopian reality which overlaps with our own, and that everything he says is true where he's from. He shares the alternate reality with generalfrivous and perhaps thejediknightthewhatsit among others.
No kidding. If Chewie's any shorter than he was in ROTJ...!!

Welcome back! It's nice to see you again :)
Hey, thanks! It's nice to see you too. :)
I liked the book better.
Ah, well. I guess this thread was just doomed to failure from the start.
And nothing else? Definitely.
I'm glad we're on the same page.

But, of course, the most important thing you missed was me.
Hopefully the latter.
I hate it when it's supper hot.
Gee, I can't even get my words right. I meant diagonal, not orthogonal.
I don't see any improvement with your new move. Now you're moving like a knight.

Is that what you're seeing too? I'd also better verify that the numbers go right to left and the letters go top to bottom.
Isn't that an orthogonal move? I was under the impression that giraffes were the rough equivalent of rooks, not bishops....
The city I'm from in Alberta got 2 mm of snow the other day. Here in Québec, the weather has been fantastic--nice and warm, but not hot, or cool, but not cold. There's also been a bit of rain and some nice lightning storms.
Apologies, Dark Lord of the Thread. I will defer to your wise judgement in the future.

Well... they never actually tried to hit eachother...
LOL!
Frink had better do something like that with the other sabre fights. He did a bit in TRM, but not enough....
I thought the silent duel worked fairly well the way it was done. It's by far my favourite duel of the PT, but a bit more dialogue before the laser fence thingamajigger and after Qui-Gon's defeat would have been good.
I believe this is the "what don't you want in episode 7" thread.

I give up. If you want to hide behind a dictionary definition then there's no point arguing it. It was a shitty thing to say.
I'm not hiding behind the language. I'm using it.
The guy called two women whores.
Whores.
This is the 21st century not the 17th.
I think you have to admit that what you said was less than tactful, especially when directed at someone who has it pretty rough at the moment and isn't necessarily entirely mentally stable.
That being said, your statement was not offensive at all when taken literally. Some people seem unfamiliar with the idea that the dictionary definition of a word is entirely valid, and there's nothing wrong with using a word in that sense instead of the often localized misuses of the word.
