I tried to imagine Yoda saying "brash" and "cocky" and failed. Yoda would be ashamed of me.

C'est quoi, un « irc » ?

I saw that. Don't know how to fix polls though.
This forum had polls!?
Why did that guy get banned?

In any case, my take on the SW Universe, it's characters, and its metaphysics doesn't mesh all that well with most of the EU's, so the point is moot.
If you're going to make grammatical errors, at least be consistent about it.
1. Cool people are usually stupid.
2. Han Solo is really cool.
3. Therefore, Han Solo is most probably stupid.
Really? Because I'm trying to read a book on a website that uses white on black and after a couple chapters the words all start swimming and I need to take a break.
Hey! OOT is used just as often as OUT around here, even if the latter is more correct.

The typo in the thread title is killing me.
I'm intrigued by a new series of Twin Peaks though.Sorry I have corrected it.
All I can say is that it was late and my meds had worn of and that is the type of mistake that I make when that happens. I can't believe I made such a stupid mistake.
Sorry.
It's OK, after thinking about it for a while, I decided to forgive you. XD

I wouldn't mind that as an option, but as it is now, ot.com looks better than most forums out there, in my opinion. I don't find the light text on dark background at all hard to read, either, if that's your complaint.
Being someone with poor eyesight, the current format is hard on my eyes. Some years ago, you could choose the format, and one of the options was black on light blue -- much, MUCH easier to read and didn't leave my eyes tired. Virtually every other forum (and I read several) are dark on light, rather than light on dark. OT.com may look cool, but of all the forums I read, it is by far the hardest on my eyes.
I see. I didn't realize it would be any harder to read light on dark than dark on light. At least it isn't white on black...that really strains the eyes....

No, I don't see what you mean. It's about the same character, and follows his timeline after OOT so how is it not a sequel? It's not a retelling of the same legend either. No hyrule, no zelda, no princess at all. No mention of the triforce.
Exactly. I can't believe that people on originaltrilogy.com think that the triforce was in the OOT! It's so obviously an SE addition...

It doesn't benefit you much, but it was a bit of a hassle to move my whole cavalry unit out of the way of your bumbling foot soldiers.

If someone gives you a portable phone and it rings, you will not answer it.
One of the characters in one of the Ocean's movies (I think it was Ocean's Eleven) answered a cellphone given to them, and I think I've seen such portable phones answered more often than not in movies/TV shows. I think movie characters just love answering phones in general.
A creepy hermit like Ben Kenobi?
Why do you laugh? The EU still exists, it just isn't canon anymore. Does that mean we can no longer discuss it? Additionally, I don't think anyone here will read/watch/play every single thing that ends up in the official canon, and this thread will still be relevant for everything aside from the movies, even if it isn't technically considered EU (although regardless of whether it is considered such or not, it really is EU).

In fairness to timdiggerm, the announcement was made fairly late. I only saw it literally 10 or 15 seconds before the forum went offline.

Yes, although I've only ever seen one person with one.
I would like to be able to say I thought of using L14yz, but that would be dishonest. :( Unfortunately, I used the one that was on L11tu.
I didn't sign up.

What does your estimated time of arrival have to do with anything?
I should have seen that coming. Lx10uv
Either your pawn is really confused and killed some poor wild animal off in the woods, or you meant Px10wx. Assuming the latter scenario, L-11tu

ok, but is it possible when he said a higher contrast 480p image with good black levels is higher resolution" he meant high detail or picture quality and not resolution? I thought by definition 1080p was higher resolution than 480p.
Warbler, he said that people in a survey thought that the 480p image was higher resolution than the 1080p image, not that it was higher resolution.
