Unfortunately our Aristocats was re-dubbed for the VHS, so no original voices there.

I’m a big Disney fan - based in Denmark - and my concern is that Disney started re-dubbing some of the older animated films for DVD and Blu Ray.

The new generations won’t mind, of course, but for people like me (in my 40s) this is a direct attack on my childhood.

The movies are

SNOW WHITE (The 1937 dub is the Holy Grail for me, as not even Disney have a copy - so I implore private collectors to be aware if you have a Danish Snow White reel lying about 😉)

Pinocchio (TWICE - the original dub - this is another Holy Grail for me - was replaced in the 70s, and is the one I grew up on, but for the DVD they changed Pinocchio’s voice, as Disney din’t want a girl to be Pinocchio as was the case)
Winnie the Pooh
Alice in Wonderland
Lady and the Tramp
Peter Pan
Aristocats
The Little Mermaid

I am no tech-nerd (no offense as I hold the deepest admiration for people who can maneuver in this field) but I managed to get hold of the original VHS tapes of Alice in Wonderland, Lady and the Tramp, Peter Pan and Pinocchio (the girl one 😉) extracted the soundtrack and was able to add the soundtrack to a Blu Ray rip in iMovie. (Some you you guys are rolling your eyes now, I know), BUT, I finally have quite a good version for my childhood memories to relax to now 😉

Of course, having discovered now how much Disney tinkers with DVD releases, I may now have to try to add my tracks to any of the 35 mm scans being done.

Just wondering if any of you out there have experienced the same kind of “attack” on your beloved Disney voices.
