The only thing I see that would be difficult with this, is that in the 2004 SE, they changed the colors to match the color scheme of the PT. The OOT dvds, which i watched them all so far, have a more organic film look to them. OCP did a very good job at combining the laserdisc footage and the SEs to make a higher quality dvd. One thing I would do, is make a new dvd with the OOT DVDs with ANAMORPHIC display. that way it looks sexier on my 30" HD Widescreen monitor, rather than having huge black bars on the left and right sides.

I got these overnighted to me by my friend who works for wal mart. i dont know how he got them before release because I got them in the mail today. I have to say it was worth the money for them. I watched Star Wars using VLC(it has the aspect ratio change so it looks nicely on my widescreen mac display), and was amazed with the picture quality. It reminded me of watching the VHS tapes i have when I was younger, seeing the slight flicker from the film transfer making it feel like the theater experience. I love the openeing crawl, redone yes, but nonetheless no "A New Hope". I do have to say looking at the screencap comparisons, that the pal one is a bit granier than the NTSC release. Thats really the only difference i see. I cant wait to watch the other 2 tomorrow.

In the UB DVDSP it gave me the option to open my fcp project and it import the video. I wonder why FCP doesnt accept Apple Intermediate Video, its better than mjpeg, and was meant for HD or master encodings.

Yeah, you just throw the M2V in. it WILL NOT handle AC3 though. Thats how I did my kill bill edit. Then opened the fcp file in DVDSP.

FCP Handles MPEG2, just rendering sucks. And not all the time is the audip and video synced.

Change my last post about this. I got another copy of the vhs tape from my friend in the states and sat with my laptop in the hospital with my friend and did my corrections to it. I will be releasing this on Demonoid soon in Xvid.

I had run a few test with interlacing the rest of the film to go along with the scene(that was it wouldnt be a noticable dop), but it did not work at all. I also am having trouble making the Divx version of this flick because of that scene. I might not end up releasing one because of it.

The source was from the dvd, and if you saw it it was not meant to be put back in the film. Its Interlaced beyond belief, and it also jumps from 29 fps to 22 to 23.976. I did the best I could as to add it in and if you pay attention to the pai mei scene their clothes change. The scene was meant to be put after the CHP 8 intro, but when I edited it so that it would be, everything went downhill. Hence why I had such a hard time with the edit. If you dont like it then thats your opinion, but it is a cool scene that should have been left in.

Well, this and all other of my projects are going to be put on hold for a while. One of my friends was just hospitalized after getting in a motorcycle wreck. I will be on the forums as usuall, but i wont be working on any edits because im going to be looking after him for a while. I will still do trades with people for kill bill, just will be spending a bit less time with that. Wish me luck and hope that my friend doesnt have any truly permament damage.

BR is an amazing movie. BR2..well...i fell asleep my first time watching it. It has the same amount of violence, but the story was just soo...bad. I am chopping it up as i type this, then I will be rendering it. So far so good.

My new project is making a new edit of the movie Battle Royale 2.

The original is a long, somewhat gory, yet long long long film, that is boring. My new adventure is to cut out the underlying plot that makes it such a boring film. I will then release this as a 2 disc set including the original Battle Royale Directors Cut with it. For those of you who have seen these films, you know what I mean by saying Battle Royale 2 would have been much better if they did not add the political message in.

I will be starting this edit soon, and hope to have a good solid edit done within 2 weeks or so.

Well, this project is a no go. As I watched the VHS as it recorded, it got 3/4s into the film, and then it went to shite. There were about 8 or 9 lines the come accorss the screen rendering it unwatchable. I might try and look on amazon or ebay for another copy, but for now this project is on hold.

. It was made in 1998 and starred Patrick Stewart.

I was at a local shoppe here, and found a near mint VHS of Dad Savage…from the US. I picked that sucker up pretty quickly(it was only 200 yen also, which is roughly 1.70 USD). When i got back to my place I went on IMDB to see if there was a DVD of it, and I was shocked to see that there wasnt. I then did some net digging and couldnt find a release date or plans for a DVD of it. So, i got to thinking maybe a good transfer of it would suffice. If anybody wants me too, I will try and release this, if no one does, then ill make a copy for my collection.

HOLY MY GOD AMAZING! wow, that actually works with the disc art I used. Although if its possible, on the Chapters, if you change the 46 to 11, then this can be used with it. wow, that is...wow. I am not good at making cover art, so if someone wants to be so kind as to make something, that would be awesome. On the DVDs i sent off to the states for potential trades, i think i sent 6, i do have art on the CD. Its the same graphic used on the menu, just the basic KILL BILL logo.

I am almost done with the DIVX version of this which will only be about 2 gigs in size.

If any of you are good at making dvd cover art, I would greatly appreciate one for this kill bill edit. I already have disc cover art, but not one for a case. Right now I am transferring the img file to my 2 friends computers so they can help seed. I should have the torrent up VERY soon. In the meantime, here are screens of the 2 menus.

Pff, thats not this edit. That edit is a disgrace. It should never have been made. This one is a whopping 4 hrs, and the way that it was meant to be.

Also, I did a few changes to the DVD. Its a bit larger file size, but is worth it. Instead of having multiple chapters making it 46 chapters total, I said F' it and only put chapter marks on the movies chapter points. Those being:

Intro
Chapter 1: 2
Chapter 2: The Blood-Spattered Bride
Chapter 3: The Origin Of O-Ren
Chapter 4: The Man From Okinawa
Chapter 5: Showdown at the House of Blue Leaves
Chapter 6: Massacre at Two Pines
Chapter 7: The Lonely Grave of Paula Schultz
Chapter 8: The Cruel Tutelage of Pai Mei
Chapter 9: Elle and I
Last Chapter: Face to Face

In total the DVD is around 8.2 gigs. Should be up soon, im doing my last tests with it.

Alright, I will do after some more tests with the dvd. On my comp its fine, on my friends tv, it Overscans the menu, so im working on that right now. If any of you have any other rare or cool fan edits or dvds that you can add in as trade, I will gladly send them out soon.

I am willing to do trades, but the easiest way for me to do it is to get more than 5 people to trade with, send my friend in the states the package with all of them, then he can send them off via media mail. Then he will send me whatever trades I received. One thing I am looking for is the Single Supplemental Material disc that went with the TR47 set. I have the ultimate supplemental collection, but wouldnt mind having the disc that went with the set.
